Personalized memorable tapas tasting - Patricia was an exceptional guide and truly made this experience unforgettable. Since it was the slow season, my daughter and I ended up being the only guests on the tour, and instead of canceling, Patricia turned it into a wonderfully personalized evening. She tailored the tapas and drinks at each stop based on what we told her we enjoyed and what we were curious to try.
Beyond the food, she shared insights about her favorite local spots and gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sights not only in Madrid but also in the other cities we planned to visit.
This tour is an incredible way to sample a wide variety of dishes early in your trip so you know what you love and can seek it out again during your stay. We would absolutely recommend this experience—and especially Patricia—to anyone visiting Madrid.

Superb way to eat Madrid - Aafke our guide was brilliant. She’s been living in Madrid on and off for over 20 years so she knew everything there was to know about the city and its varied foodie scene. We started off I
In one of the very old cave market storage restaurants that were once used by the market traders at the nearby Plaza Mayor. We then walked and ate at several more wonderful smallish non tourist places in La Latina and ended up with a dessert that we’d never eaten before that looked like a large doughnut but was made with bread pudding and it was delicious. All in all it was a superb trip, about 3 hours and we loved it and Aafke. Highly recommended.

Tapas and Drinks Tour - Last night my wife Karen and I went on a Walking Tapas tour around Madrid with our wonderful host Aafke. As we were the only ones on the tour we feel like we got 5 star treatment and Aafke was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The bars and restaurants we were taken took were lovely and the food delicious although as I was feeling a little poorly I never got to enjoy it as much as I hoped although Karen made up for that for me!
I would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Aafke as your guide.

Great introduction to Madrid - We were in town for Radiohead in early November. It was a last minute opportunity with a very short window to discover the city. Our tour with Patricia was a welcome introduction to the culture and history. Great tour, great guide, great experience.

The BEST tour in Madrid - Can’t recommend this tour enough!! We had just arrived that day to Madrid and do not speak any Spanish, and had read other reviews saying this was a great way to learn the city, find some great restaurants/ bars with the assistance of an English speaking guide who chooses specialty items to give us a taste of authentic Madrid. This tour did exactly that!! Our tour guide Patricia is what really made this tour special, welcoming, and so much fun! We drank, ate, laughed the whole night! It was our favorite tour we did in Madrid. Thanks again Patricia!!
