Great Tour - The tour with Christine was excellent. She provided some great commentary on the aqueduct, the castle and the general area of Segovia. The walk along the river was a nice change from just visiting the historical sites.

Great day trip from Madrid - Lovely day trip to Segovia. Cristina was a delightful guide. Met us at the train station in Madrid, travelled to Segovia. Had a relaxed hike along the river followed by the visit of the Alcazar. Incredibly well preserved Roman aqua duct, simply fascinating! A great outing from Madrid!

Great trip - Christina was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She made the trip lots of fun and was very informative. The area was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk a lot. There is a lot of up and down hills and steps but it’s worth the effort.

Great day tour from Madrid - Christina was marvelous. It had begun to rain and she helped us get umbrellas and we were able to continue our tour in Segovia S Pop The hike was really nice and so beautiful. She made a great suggestion for lunch. Would highly recommend this tour if you are pretty fit & into a lot of walking. The train& taxis went w/o any problems. It’s all day but well worth it

Segovia Tour - Antonio was great! The tour was well paced and a really nice mixture of local spots and the must see sites of Segovia. I would highly recommend it to those wanting a day trip outside of Madrid.

Great Day Trip to Segovia! - This was an amazing half-day trip from Madrid. Our guide, Antonio, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our trip. Since we were going for only part of the day, we decided on the high-speed train option rather than the auto. This was a great decision. We had used the AVE before, but taking the train is a cool thing to learn about. The trip begins with a visit to the famous Roman Aqueducts. Seeing them is truly amazing, and pictures don't do them justice. Antonio was great at explaining everything about them. This tour included a "hike" by the river. I put hike in quotations because it is more of a walk. If you're worried about a strenuous hike, it's not that. We enjoyed the guided tour of a nature path. The walk goes around the town, past the Royal Coin Mint, and ends at the Segovia Alcázar. The tour includes admission. Antonio had a headphone system that allowed him to guide and explain the castle as we toured. We are very happy to have toured this castle. It was a highlight of our vacation. The tour ends with an hour and a half to eat lunch and explore Segovia. It was crowded the day we arrived. If you don't want to eat in the Plaza, you can take the calle down to the Aquaduct and find many more eating places along the way. If you're considering this tour, you should go for it. Antonio was an expert tour guide, and our entire family loved it.

An enjoyable day trip - Highly recommended day trip! I’m glad I chose to visit Segovia on its own and not in combination with another city, since the visit was more leisurely this way. The hike along the river was also a nice break from only visiting cities. Antonio was an excellent guide who clearly enjoys his work. He was attentive to everyone’s needs and made us feel very welcome.

Great Day Tour of Segovia - The tour was wonderful. Small group and train were definitely a plus. The tour had a perfect balance of a beautiful hike, visit to the castle, and free time near the aqueduct. Segovia is beautiful and this tour was a perfect day trip from Madrid.

Great tour, logistics need improvement. - The tour to Segovia was really nice. The high speed train was a great way to get there and expedite the travel time. The situation with the transfer from the train station to the old city was a mess. There are few taxis and although an arrangement had been made for a larger vehicle to pick us up (there were 6 of us with the guide) they were apparently unavailable once we were actually at the station. This resulted in multiple phone calls by the guide, arguments either other travelers also looking for a taxi, and ultimately a 20 minute delay getting to the city of Segovia. The return trip was not much better and of course there was the stress of not making the train before departure. The tour itself was great and the city is beautiful. The additional hike was quite enjoyable but the logistics really need to be ironed out.
