Through the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection you will learn about styles, characters, periods and ideas that cross Western painting from the thirteenth to the twentieth century. The museum is one of the cultural references of the Community of Madrid.
You will learn about landscape and genre painting, especially frequent themes of the Dutch school of the seventeenth century and the American school of the nineteenth century, the avant-garde of the twentieth century: Fauvism, expressionism, surrealism, abstraction and pop art.

Visit to Thyssen - I am not a fan of current art, I wanted to see the Thyssen to see the great collection of Italian paintings from the 16th century, but David made modern and abstract artists interested me. I recommend it!
