Amazing! - We booked a private tour for the three of us. Beautiful and clean van showed up right on time and we left for the activity. We had a Thai guide that spoke really good English. I hope I’m writing his name correct- Tong. He gave us a great geography/history lesson on the way to the activity as well as pointing out landmarks and points of interest. Once there the instruction was clear and he gave us a few recommendations. After the train tour we left promptly for the floating market. Wow is all I can say- it was awesome. Tip- floating market is way more expensive than train market so make your purchases accordingly. But if you see something you really want don’t wait as you can’t go back to it later. There is a walking area with market stuff that we did not go to tho. Such an enjoyable day. After we left the floating market our guide stopped at a few of the stands and purchased us some Thai treats to try. They were delicious. When we got back to the van we were offered ice cold water and a cold wet towel to wash. Nice touch. We found the price of a private tour worth it as we only had to worry about ourselves and not a large group. If you have a family group this is definitely the way to go. I would do this tour again. Leave early in the morning because when we arrived at 8:40 it was already busy.

Number 1 tour with number 1 tour guide - Thann is by far the best tour guide that I have seen since I have been taking tours in numerous countries. He spoke great English, gave a history of the region, and answered all my questions. He ensured I got the best view at the train market and that I completed my shopping list at the floating market. He helped me order food that I have been wanting to try. Highly recommend him and a very appreciative customer and recommend this tour to everyone.

Floating and train market!! - Our tour guide Ohm was very informative and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the ride to the markets as he told us some history along the way. The markets were busy but very interesting. It was amazing to see the shops roll up their umbrellas every time the train needed to pass. It was a cool experience to be so close to the train while it went by. The floating market was great as well. There was beer and snacks all the way along. As well as souvenirs for all kinds. I would recommend this tour to anybody.

Great way to experience another side of Thailand! - We had a great time with our guide Ohm. He was waiting for us in the lobby of our hotel promptly at 7am and we were off to the railroad market. We spent about hour or so at the rail station and then it was off to the floating market. Both stops were a great way to interact with the locals and see another side of Thailand. This was definitely an experience we'll never forget. Highly recommend.

Train and Boat Tour - Our tour guide was excellent and was mindful of our timeline to necessitate being back to the meeting place to return to our cruise ship. This private tour was informative and we totally enjoyed it. Seeing the train going through the market was an experience. Our private boat ride through the markets was also fabulous. We had plenty of time to see everything. Would recommend this tour.

Great tour provider - KKK Tours (slightly unfortunate name) our guide was very helpful, friendly and knew where to take us to get the most out of our 1/2 day. It was just us in his vehicle which was modern, clean, cool and had charging candles, water, tissues. Picked up from hotel first thing to go to the train market which was a fantastic experience and a taste of authentic thailand, as the stall holders go about their business then have to move everything off the tracks as the train rattles through - a really great experience. then to a long tail boat in to the 'floating' markets which are basically tourist shops next to canals, where you stop at each stall and each stall owner tries to get you to buy something.

Markets with an Un Licensed Guide. - This tour was billed as a small group tour, it ended up being just me and the "DRIVER" The driver was supposed to be a tour guide, but he did not have his tour guide license, so he could not explain anything, or go with me into the markets. He was worried about the tourist police and getting into trouble. In addition, the driver spoke very little English and could not under basic questions. How can they send out someone that is not licensed? With that said, the visit to the train market and floating markets were fun, once I got my bearings and figured out things on my own. The driver was pleasant and professional, but it would have been nice to get some local commentary form the guide while visiting the markets.
