Fun tour with perfect tour guide and driver! - This is a fantastic tour! I am a solo traveler so I researched many options before choosing this one and so happy that I did.
My guide named Nicky and driver named Tum were punctual and transported me safely throughout the day. We left at 7am to get to the train market in time for the first train to pass and that was perfect as there are less crowds and heat early in the morning. Nicky spoke really good English and she was warm and friendly and shared a lot of information about Thailand and Thai culture. Nickey also stayed with me the entire time as I walked and shopped through the markets and told me exactly where to stand in the train market to be safe, and take great video of the passing train. Watching the train come through so close to your body is an amazing sight to experience and online videos and photos don’t do it justice so you really must go to experience this in person!
Nicky was also really kind to take many photos of me so that I did not have to resort to taken selfies. The train market was our first stop and after watching the train come through, I had plenty of time to shop, and to find most of the souvenirs that I was looking for without feeling rushed. Nicky told me to take all the time I needed and even advised me on how to negotiate for better prices.
After the train market, Tum picked us up and took us over to the floating market. This too was an amazing experience because we had our own private long boat ride and spent a good amount of time floating through the market and down the canals. We even stopped at one point and Nicky purchased fish food so we could feed the fish in the canals. It was fun watching the fish battle for food and I felt like a child once again. After the boat ride, I once again had plenty of time to shop in the markets without being rushed and Nicky continued to stay with me and was very patient I highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get Nicky and Tum as your guides!

Perfect day with excellent guide and driver! - I had the most wonderful day on this tour with my tour guide, Niki, and our driver, Tum! I was traveling solo so spent quite some time researching options before deciding on this tour. I am so glad I chose this tour as Niki arrived promptly to pick me up from my hotel and was so very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of information about Thailand during our drive to the first stop, the train market. And Tum was a fantastic driver that got us there safely. Niki speaks really good English and knew exactly where we should stand in the train market so that we would be safe and still be able to get some great photos of the arriving train. And she was very kind to offer to take photos of me throughout the day since I was traveling solo. Niki was also very patient and allowed me plenty of time to shop in the market.
Our second stop was at the floating market which was also a wonderful experience. We had a leisurely private long boat tour through the floating market and canals and even stopped and fed the fish from the side of our boat. After the boat ride Niki once again accompanied me through the markets for shopping and I really enjoyed the fact that once again I was not rushed and was able to find all the souvenirs I needed. I greatly enjoyed the tour and would gladly do it again when back in Thailand but only with Niki and Tum as my tour mates! Thank you so very much Niki and Tum!!!

Amazing day on the river - Poppy was such an amazing host! She immediately made us feel at home it’s clear she is so proud of her country and eager to share with guests….especially the food. She kept feeding us throughout the tour, stopping at a local coffee shop to buy us iced teas and pastries. Then it was on to the floating market which was unforgettable and the highlight of our trip thus far. She got us delicious coconut ice cream and ensured we had snacks and drinks on the boat. Through it all she kept as laughing the whole day. I can’t say enough about what a great guide she is and would recommend her and this tour wholeheartedly!

The Private Railway Market and Floating Market tour with Johnny absolutely blew me away. He’s warm, sharp, and somehow kept everything perfectly on track—even when the crowds got wild.
At the Railway Market, Johnny told us exactly where to stand and when the train would pass, while everyone else was wandering around unsure of what was happening. We had the perfect spot ready. Watching the train barrel through, barely missing the stalls, was unreal. The vendors pulled back their umbrellas and goods in seconds like clockwork. It felt like magic, and I stood there grinning like a kid. Johnny also knew all the shortcuts and the best food stalls—I would have never found those snacks or back alleys without him.
Then we headed to the floating market. The place was buzzing with life—boats packed with fruit, vendors calling out, and the smell of snacks everywhere. We tried the mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream, and both were incredible.
Our driver, Beer, handled everything smoothly. The van was spotless and comfortable, which made getting around easy and relaxing.
If you’re traveling solo and want a day packed with energy, flavors, and a few surprises, go with Johnny. I felt safe, well taken care of, and honestly, I couldn’t stop smiling all day.
He also took great photos for us using both his phone and ours, which was a nice extra touch.

Private tour of floating market and train market - We had a tour today with Johnny and our driver was Mr. Beer. Johnny was absolutely wonderful! He made sure we had the perfect view of everything. He took amazing pictures for us. If there was something we wanted to see or do he made sure we got to do it. He got us the best snacks to try. The coconut ice cream was my favorite. Mr. Beer was always ready waiting on us with a cool car and a friendly smile. They were both super. I highly recommend this tour if you want an exciting experience that is self paced and make sure you ask for Johnny and Mr. Beer, they will make sure you have the best time!

The Photo Queen! - Girls, if you want those 'Instagram' shots, ask for Ava! She knows all the best angles at the floating market and even helped me pose so I didn't look awkward in the boat lol. Beyond the photos, she was incredibly sweet and made sure we always had cold water. She really looked after us like we were her own sisters. Such a lovely day.

Smooth as silk - I’m a stickler for punctuality, and Peter was waiting in our hotel lobby 10 minutes early with a big smile. The logistics were flawless. We beat the massive tour bus crowds to the floating market, which meant we actually got some 'quiet' photos on the boat. Peter's English is excellent and he’s a very safe driver too. Totally worth the private booking.

Professional, Fun, and Unforgettable - What an incredible day! The market folding up for the train is like a synchronized dance so impressive. The floating market was vibrant and full of life.
