The initial section involves a steady climb to “Paso de los Vientos,” offering breathtaking valley views. A descent follows to Refugio Chileno for a brief rest before continuing through lenga forests and crossing the Ascencio River. The final segment is the most challenging, featuring a steep rocky path to the base of the iconic granite towers, a world-famous viewpoint and the ultimate reward for the effort.
