Best way to get around Yogyakarta in a day - An excellent experience with our guide & driver, Arma. Always available, friendly, and highly professional. He’s very knowledgable.
We started the tour at 4 a.m., but it was worth it—the view was absolutely breathtaking and the day was full of different activities.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the highlights of Yogyakarta in just one day.

Excellent day trip thanks to my driver - It was an amazing day ! Fery, the friendly and dedicated driver I spent the day with, picked me up very early from my hotel to see the sunrise from Punthuk Setumbu. It was magical, one of the best sunrises I had in my life. After getting breakfast in a nice restaurant, Fery drove me to the impressive Borobudur Temple and left with a local guide that explained the history of the site and the significance of carvings.
After some free time, Fery left me for around one hour with another local, this time for a Jeep Tour of Mount Merapi, to see the scale of the destruction caused by previous volcanic eruptions
Finally Fery took me to Prambanan, where he guided me through the different temples. He was very knowledgeable about the site and is a very good photograph. After this he drove me back to Yogjakarta
I am happy that I got to book this tour, that allowed me to see the main highlights around Yogjakarta in one day. Fery made everything in his power to make this day as enjoyable as possible and I am very grateful to him for that

Sunrise over Borobudur and sunset at Pramhanam tour - Everything was amazingly organized. Thomas was my driver. Very friendly, professional and thoughtful. I felt safe and looked after. He was open to suggestions with the schedule and very accommodating.
The early sunrise was def worthwhile esp if the weather condition corroborates. The climb up Borobudur was def worth it and check out the museum if you have time. They give you slippers (that you get to keep along w a bag) and a small water bottle for the climb. The merapi jeep tour -I personally found it a little cheesy. The Pramhanam complex is amazing but save time for the 3 Buddhist temples within the complex as well. Candi Sewu - the farthest one out had 249 buildings (Pramhanam had 244)! Get a tour guide - I had Akmal and he was amazing.
Thomas made my action packed day memorable and perfect. Highly recommend asking for Thomas for your tour. Sunrise over Borobudur and sunset at Pramhanam. Thank you Thomas for a perfect day.

What a good tour - Our full-day tour was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our exceptional guide, Bima. His deep knowledge of the sites and history, combined with his warm and attentive approach, truly elevated the entire day. He made sure all our needs were met and added personal touches that made the trip feel both effortless and enriching.
The Borubudur temple was impressive, though we found Prambanan more comfortable to explore thanks to its shaded areas and cooler atmosphere.
In the middle of the day, Bima took us to have lunch at Kali Opak Resto, which was definitely a plus! It was a unique setting and, without a doubt, offered the best food we had during our time in Yogyakarta!
The Merapi jeep tour added some adventure to the itinerary. While the driver was competent and the ride enjoyable, we felt it didn’t quite justify the deviation in terms of time and distance, especially compared to the cultural richness of the other stops.
Overall, it was a well-balanced tour filled with historical insight, natural beauty, and excellent local cuisine. We are grateful to Bima for making it such a memorable experience.

Fantastic! - We had a fantastic full-day tour with our guide Bima, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and truly cared about our experience. Borobudur was impressive, but we especially enjoyed Prambanan with its shade and atmosphere. Lunch at Kali Opak Resto, by the river, was the best meal we had in Java. The Merapi jeep tour was fun but felt a bit out of the way. Overall, a memorable and well-organized day—highly recommended!

5 Stars - An Amazing Walking Tour of Seoul! - Our tour of Borobudur Temple and Merapi Volcano was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide, Hibza! He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so much history and insight that made the experience even more meaningful. Hibza made the whole day run smoothly and effortlessly, even accommodating some custom requests we had, like a special spot for lunch — and he did it all with ease and a smile. It felt like traveling with a friend who truly cared about making our trip perfect. Highly recommend this tour and especially Hibza if you're looking for an outstanding experience!

Amazing experience - Hibza was an awesome guide! He was knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, friendly, and an all-around great guy to spend 12 hours with. We saw so many incredible sights and learned and experienced so much. Would strongly recommend this tour.

An amazing day in Yogyakarta with Maxi! - Our tour to Borobudur, Prambanan, and Merapi volcano was simply unforgettable! Every place left us speechless, but what truly made the day special was Maxi, our driver. From the very beginning, Maxi was more than just a driver — he was a friend, always smiling, always checking if we were enjoying ourselves, and making sure we had the best experience possible.
One of the moments that really touched us was when he noticed we were curious about bakpia, and without hesitation, he got some for us to try! It’s those little details, that genuine care, that made all the difference. Maxi’s kindness and positive energy turned an amazing trip into a truly heartwarming memory. We had an amazing tour... - We had an amazing tour visiting Borobudur, Prambanan, and the Merapi volcano! Every place was absolutely stunning and full of history and beauty. Our driver, Maxi, made the experience even better — he was extremely friendly, professional, and always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Maxi shared a lot of interesting information with us, and even surprised us by offering bakpia when he noticed we were curious about it! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the day even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Maxi, for making this an unforgettable experience!
