Overall very good - We had a great experience at the Kraken beach club. We booked this as a shore excursion. It’s easy to get a taxi to and from the club, $5 per person each way plus tip. The snorkeling was great-Daniel and Axo took us to a great spot not far from the beach club. We saw three turtles and a ton of fish. Absolutely loved it. Be careful about what you agree to, though-the snorkeling tour on the boat is NOT included-it was $50 per person for us (plus tip, of course). Totally worth it, but just be aware. Also, the food is good but super expensive. It was $94 plus tip for two taco plates (just tacos), a small app of guacamole and chips, and two beers. So again, just be aware. Plus, you will be expected to tip the guy who « takes care of » you. The water at the beach club is very shallow, perfect if you just want to sit in the water with your drink. The seaweed is kept out by netting-also very appreciated.

Best day of our trip! - Alex was an amazing host. We were met at our taxi as soon as we arrived. Alex had loungers waiting for us at the waters edge. We had the best day with our family-the kids loved snorkeling and the food was delicious -the best we had on our trip. I highly recommend booking with Alex and Beach Club Kraken!

The best beach and service - It was very nice, we ate the Mayan fish, and pastor tacos wooow. The snorkeling tour was amazing!!!!!!!

Great place-visit the Kraken! - Had a great day on the beach under cover of an umbrella. The beach is family friendly, no too deep for kids yet deep enough to enjoy. Alex was super attentive and made sure we were kept happy with fast friendly service. Prices were good and reasonable. Must visit!

Great experience - If you want to have a pleasant experience by the sea and eat something delicious and fresh, I highly recommend visiting Kraken. You'll find 100% fresh seafood, their drinks are a delight, and the service is excellent, especially from Alex, who will attend to you from your arrival until your departure.

Great experience - The red snapper at the restaurant was EXCELLENT and our server Alex was amazing! We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!

Clean water, soft sand, nice staff, too many people selling stuff while your trying to relax. - The beach and water were very nice. The chips and salsa were over priced. The constant traffic of people selling things was very annoying. The bathroom facilities were very rustic. The owner and wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall I would visit here again.

Beach and water is... - Beach and water is gorgeous and food and drinks are wonderful, the owner really goes out of his way to try to make everyone happy. One downside is the area in general and not this location specifically - non stop beach vendors approaching and trying to sell cigars, watches, towels, jewellery, basically anything and everything and they approach probably every 5 minutes or more, highly disruptive when the goal is to relax on the beach.
