Good value for the money.... - Good value for the money. Historical site was fascinating. Some drinks, snacks, and gifts were available for purchase there. Saw several spider monkeys. Had a large tour bus that wasn't full at all. The drive is a bit bland but the guide was providing information. If considering stopping at a beach on the way back, I recommend skipping it. The beaches are very narrow, loud, and busy.

Best Excursion experience!! - Excellent tour, our first time using Viator. It was a smaller tour so not a huge crowd which is what we wanted. Had a wonderful time seeing the ruins and surprise sighting of native spider monkeys!! The guide was knowledgeable about the ancient Mayan culture and practices made for an educational tour. Initially wo were concerned about finding the tour once we got off the cruise but the instructions were very clear and made it easy to locate and made a smooth experience getting off and going back on our ship on time.

Beautiful discovery with family - Very nice visit. To the delight of the children, we were able to see monkeys on the site. A very friendly and attentive guide. Bottles of water were welcome in view of the heat on site.

Wonderful Excursion with Carlos - Our family had an unforgettable experience visiting the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins from Costa Maya. Carlos was absolutely outstanding—his knowledge, humor, and energy made the entire trip so much fun. He brought the history to life and kept us engaged from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, and honestly, pictures can’t do it justice—you have to see it for yourself to truly appreciate it. This was the highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Sucks when rains lol did.... - Sucks when rains lol did. Got to see some monkeys. First don’t follow the map it took us to deserted building. We had to ask to find it. Once there we were only offered water website says sodas and shots. Once they give you the receipt hold on to it I was pissed when they asked for proof from a little girl. The drives was scary lol weaving in and out of traffic in the rain. We had to walk in the rain to the ruins muddy and wet bring ponchos. Carlos your guy was amazing very knowledgeable.

Not very good experience - I gave 2 stars just for our bus driver and guider. First of all, the meeting points were really hard to find for us who was the first time to take cruise without much of experiences, none told us we can just cross the store to the back path directly to the parking lot, we walked all way around the stores to the meeting points. The description of the meeting points is also very unclear! It’s at the exit of the port, they will get a small bus to take you to final meeting points, where their reception was. Second, the reception lady was really not welcome and have big attitude on us!!?? Not sure if there was some discrimination. The other reception people were really nice and asked tourists if they want beers or soft drinks since it’s included plus free bottles of water. But for us, the reception lady just let us get in the bus immediately after we checked in. We have to ask for the beer and bottle of water by ourselves, like we were not welcomed or like a troubled??? Excuse me!!! The bus driver and the guider was really nice, even the weather was big rainy day, but they were nice to us. They gave umbrellas to some families who have kids or seniors. We didn’t get one because we both adults and limited umbrellas, but that’s ok. We still left some tips for them. Unfortunately, we all so wet after the maya ruins, so none of us wanted to go the beach so it’s cancelled. We all back to the port after it. It was amazing to see the maya ruins if a better weather, and of course a better reception lady with good attitudes!!!!!
