Upon arrival, you will receive the snorkel gear, which has been previously cleaned and disinfected. Your guide will provide a briefing and fish identification charts to use during the excursion. The boat will take you to the snorkel area beyond Mahahual town. She is a 21-foot long boat, totally safe and suitable for a max of 6 pax. The excursion consists of 2 stops in two different areas, one more visited due to its high probability of swimming with sea turtles, and a second where there will be no other snorkelers. Between both areas, the boat will take you to the beach if you want to relax and enjoy the snacks and drinks that the staff brings in the refrigerator. Your guide will carry a safe hoop that can be used by anyone who needs to rest. In addition to taking care of the group and pointing out animal life, the guide will take pics that will become memories of a great experience!

Outside the gates of the cruise ship terminal, take a taxi to the Mar Adentro Dive Center, inside the Blue Kay Ecocabañas, a 5' drive, The driver should drop you at the reception. Walk towards the seafront, the dive center on the right, close to the restaurant, about 90 ft. away.

Snorkeling around the coral reef with my teenage daughter - Great experience! We were afraid of the impact of the polar storm and the cold snap on the quality of the excursion. Finally the water was 27 and we could see many species around the coral reef including an eagle skate and a turtle when it is not the season!
Our guide was really nice, he guided us with a lot of kindness and a lot of explanations.

Perfect. - That snorkeling session was beautiful.

They were great and made the experience enjoyable - Our tour guides were Patricio and victor! They were great! My friends and I have never snorkeled before. They were very patient with us. And when we got in the water we were having a little difficulty with our masks. Victor… had the life ring and left all three of us hold onto it, while we kicked too, and took us all over to find things in the ocean. Victor would go down and show us different things. If he hadn’t done that?!!! We wouldn’t have seen nearly anything. And the ocean was a bit rough so we were just getting beat up by the waves. We probably would have quit waaay earlier. But he was soo patient! Thank you guys for a great experience!!
