Of the best tours I've ever had - Super recommended to take the tour with Mayan Latitude. Selene is an excellent guide, always tried to make our trip very pleasant and pleasant. We couldn’t do the kayac experience because there was a lot of rain and it was dangerous, however we exchanged it for a rich swim in Cenote Azul de Bacalar and it was beyond incredible that adventure. He explained everything to us perfectly even when visiting Rio Hondo he invited us to take a meditation that brought us a lot of peace. As a welcome gift he gave us a DELICIOUS green tea!!! And as a plus more, he very kindly provided us with several tips on what to do and where to eat in Chetumal. Without a doubt, when I returned to Chetumal, I will contact her again to undertake a new adventure.

You have to see Dzibanche and Kinichna with Latitud Maya! - Our family of four had a wonderful private excursion to two fascinating Mayan sites, Dzibanché and Kinichna. I wasn't sure if we had time to pull of this excursion from the Costa Maya cruise terminal but Selene and Roberto handled the day flawlessly. I wanted to visit these particular sites because they looked beautiful and because they are off the beaten track. We were not disappointed. There were virtually no tourists at either site and it was magical having these glorious places almost all to ourselves. The buildings are only half the attraction--- the other half are the beautiful trees, the nature, the serenity, the wildlife in the area. We loved it all. They have a very comfortable and new van and we found them to be a fun pair to spend the day with. I have visited quite a few Mayan sites but these were my favorite. I would not hesitate to book with Latitud Maya. I hope to get a chance to travel with them again.

Just do it! - I have traveled a lot of places and gone on a lot of tours, this was easily the best tour I've ever been on and I wish more people knew about it! I experienced and learned so much. Kayaking the Rio Hondo was absolutely magical - and being able to be so up close and personal with such beautiful ruins...it was simply unlike anything I've experienced in Mexico so far. Selene also gave great recommendations for me to spend a day in Chetumal (I was spending the week in Bacalar). It is 100% worth spending a day (or two or three) with Latitud Maya. You will not regret it!

Must Do Adventure! - Latitud Maya is a highly recommended must do adventure if you’re going to be in the Chetumal/Bacalar area. It starts with a kayak ride in the River Hondo and you paddle through a beautiful waterway that is surrounded by vegetation. We stopped for a delicious lunch at a local eatery and enjoyed some delicious tacos. We ended the day by exploring the ruins. Roberto was very insightful and taught us a lot about the Mayan culture and history. From the moment the tour was booked they went above and beyond to be communicative and helpful with the tour and offer recommendations outside the tour as well. Marco also helped out immensely by helping us find a place for a Covid test since we came during Covid and needed it for our flight home. This tour is a gem and so happy that my friend recommended it. You won’t regret it! Selene, Marco & Roberto - thank you for everything! You made our trip amazing.

Excellent ride! - Very well the guide, very interesting information, pleasant and prudent driving of the vehicle. Service and punctual times as agreed, we went to three places, Rio Hondo with a couple of hours between kayaking and refreshing dip in the river, then two adjoining archaeological sites very worth touring and appreciate. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes that can be wet and dry on the way.
