Nice people. Great dive. - Our family dives about once a year. We are always a bit rusty. Nico, our dive master was very patient and made our dive enjoyable and relaxed. Other employees at the dive shop were very affable and helpful. If we are back in Manahual we will dive with them again!

Great Two-Tank Dive with a Small, Personalized Group - I did a two-tank dive with Mar Adentro in Costa Maya and had a great experience overall. I dove with Nix as my guide, and he was professional, attentive, and easy to dive with. Water temperature was about 79°F — just warm enough to dive without a wetsuit — and visibility was around 50 feet. There was a slight current in some areas, but nothing difficult to manage. Surface conditions were a bit rough with bigger swells, but the crew handled everything smoothly and professionally. One thing I really appreciated was how helpful the crew was getting divers back on the boat. They brought our gear onboard first so we could climb the ladder without equipment on our backs, which made things much safer and easier, especially with the swells. The boat was well maintained and in good condition, and everything felt organized and safety-focused. I booked through Travel Perks, which resulted in a very small group — just two divers plus the guide — and that made the experience feel very personal and relaxed. Overall, a solid operation with great staff and good diving. I’d definitely book with them again in the future.

Great dive! - We loved this dive trip! We went for a lionfish hunting dive. The dive shop crew is friendly and very helpful. The dive masters are also fun, but are serious about safety and helped us by giving us some tips on our dive. Jose is great! We dove 14 Crevices (?) for the lionfish hunt. We saw two, bagged one. But it was an awesome dive! Diving through the crevices was almost like cave diving. We saw a lot of fish, an eel, ray, turtle and all the reef life. The dive shop is a short cab ride from the cruise port. The reef is a short boat ride from the dive shop, which sits in a cozy little shopping area right on the beach. Perfect for the shore interval. We had a great time and will book here for all of our future dives. Highly recommend!

2 tank dive - Great dive guides. You will be getting in the water to get on the boat so bring a dry bag. If you have your own gear you will be setting it up yourself crew " won't touch " your gear. They also had us carry our weights through the water, on and off the boat. " it was easier for them" All and all, a good safe dive. Resort has shopping and a restaurant...nice day.

Beware of time ship allows disembarkation - We arrived from a Cruise ship and the cruise ship is on central time but the dive shop is on eastern time. They told us to be there at 9am but the ship doesn't even let us off until 9 est. Be aware. We ended up completely missing the first boat and ended up waiting until the 2nd boat of the day and we were only able to get 1 dive in for fear of missing the ship. We also had other issues with my son in law and the discover diving excursion so we didn't stick around. Etienne was extremely patient and a great dive instructor. The dive site was called the Canyons and it was an extremely beautiful shallow dive. It was very disappointing that they do not cater more to ships on central time.
