Excellent hike with beautiful views - We were picked up on time and took to the viewpoint for the sunrise. After this we had breakfast and started the hike, its mostly downhill so is suitable for elderly hikers or those with young children. Our guide Shisher was friendly, helpful, informative and fun to hang out with for the day. We passed through several small villages with friendly locals and dogs and finished the hike at a beautiful temple and dropped off at the hotel

Great 1/2 day authentic walk with great views - Great way to see a more authentic part of NEPAL Shishir communication from the outset was fantastic. His knowledge of the area is impeccable and the walking trek thru farmland is a great way to spend a 1/2 day if you have the time. The trek is easy and requires no real level of fitness which is a far cry from the EBC trek I finished 2 days earlier. Shishir really explains well the Hindi and Buddhist faiths and the meanings of each temples significance along the way. He was very punctual and ensured i was having the best experience - from Taking photos as I was solo to sharing historical shots because the weather didn’t accomodate. Shishir is friendly and polite to all around him and his English is good. Definitely I would recommend this short tour for anyone who wants to experience more of the quieter and authentic side of Nepal.

As promised! - We had to wake at 3.30 to catch the sunrise at Nargakot but it was worth it. It was spectacular! Then, we had a delicious local breakfast with the best Sel Roti i've ever had. We were fuelled for the hike through villages, temples and more spectacular views with the snow mountains ever present. Everything you've read about Shishir is true. He matches his pace to yours and when he senses that it's challenging for us city folk, distracts with music and song. When our energy was low, he stopped at a rest stop for us to have restorative tea. His knowledge about the local flora and fauna is impressive and when Changu Narayan was in sight, he told the tale of how it came to be built there. Best part is, he takes amazing photographs which will become wonderful mementos of a beautiful day. Thank you!

Kathmandu at its best! - As a solo female traveler I was very cautious of who I would have as my guide and driver. They were excellent! I never felt uncomfortable. They were courteous, and accommodating. We had excellent weather so the sunrise experience was amazing. The trek through the villages (at my pace) was so tranquil and informative. Highly recommend!

A great day out in the foothills - A big thank you to Shishir for a wonderful trip. Watching the sunrise over the mountains was the highlight of our trip to Nepal. We also enjoyed the time walking with Shishir down through the countryside and through the local villages. We hope to come to Nepal soon and use his guiding again. Big thanks. Nicki and Charles

Amazing tour with fantastic guide, Shishir - Had a lovely day out hiking from sunset to midday with our guide, Shishir. He was knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all questions Nepal/Kathmandu. I really enjoyed learning more about his experiences leading tours, trekking to base camps and climbing summits. Very interesting and insightful. After pick up and the sunrise point, we had breakfast at a local cafe. This was a good experience. We were also lucky to have excellent weather throughout the day and he was very informative about the mountains we passed. He helped take many photos which was much appreciated. I particularly liked that Shishir walked at a pace that I could keep up at (I'm sure it felt like a lifetime for him!) and explain about the villages that we passed. An excellent tour guide and day. Will definitely recommend him to other customers and my friends
