Poom Coong Village - Begin the journey from the hotel in Hanoi, traveling to Mai Chau (approximately 175 km). Enjoy the scenic drive with breathtaking views at every turn. Upon reaching Poom Coong village in Mai Chau, take a brief walk to meet the ethnic Thai community, followed by lunch at a local home.

Suối Chàm - At 1:00 pm, take a short 15-minute ride to the Ma River for a brief boat trip, then embark on a 2 to 3-hour walk through picturesque hillside villages and stunning rice paddies, observing handcrafted bamboo water wheels. The highlight of this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu Luong Nature Reserve and the daily life and culture of the White Thai people. Become part of the local life as honored guests at a traditional Thai stilt house in Hang village, where a traditional dinner and overnight stay await.

Hike to Eo Ken & Kho Muong Villages - Homestay

Hang Dơi Kho Mường - Daily life begins early here. It’s fascinating to join the host family’s morning activities and explore Hang village before enjoying breakfast served by the Thai people. The trek starts at 8 a.m., lasting approximately 5 to 6 hours. The initial hike is challenging with steep climbs and stream crossings, followed by glorious views of valleys, rice terraces, and lush rainforests.

Enjoy a picnic lunch en route at Eo Ken village. Arrive in Kho Muong, a village set in one of Vietnam’s most beautiful locations, nestled between steep karst mountains and lovely terraces, in the afternoon. Spend the second night in a typical Thai eco-stilt house in Kho Muong.

Hard Trek to Nua Village - Hin Villages - Homestay

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - After breakfast, embark on a more challenging full day of hiking. Continue through the valley with steep climbs and stream crossings. Trek to an incredible cave, recently discovered and now protected by forest rangers. The trek becomes more remote, yet villagers tending fields are never far away. Pass steep limestone mountains and rainforests within the Pu Luong Nature Reserve to Nua village. After a strenuous trek, enjoy the refreshing experience of stream bathing. A picnic lunch will be served here.

Relax from the day’s heat before continuing to Hin Village, home to the Thai people, in the afternoon. Be welcomed as honored guests, enjoy dinner with locals at their traditional house, and have free time to learn about their customs and culture. Prepare a picnic lunch for the next day. Full Day Trek to Son Village - Homestay

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Depart Hin village after breakfast with the Thai people, starting a full day trek to Son village. The challenging climb leads deeper into the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, with its wild and rich tropical forest. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Continue trekking through the beautiful Ba village to Son village by sunset, weather permitting. Relax and stretch in a Thai stilt house or stroll around the village, engaging with the friendly locals. Dinner and overnight stay in Son village. (Overnight in Homestay)

Trek to Ton Village - Back to Hanoi

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Breakfast is prepared by the guide before starting the trek at 8:00 am to Ton village. Today’s trek is pleasant and easier, with gentle ups and downs through rice paddies and jungle. After 2.5 hours, reach Ton village. A driver will pick up the group and transfer them to Muong Khen town for lunch. Arrive back in Hanoi in the afternoon.
