Continue to Thung Khe Pass to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley before reaching Mai Chau town. Mai Chau is a picturesque valley located 145 km from Hanoi, known for its harmonious landscapes, lush mountain ranges, rice terraces, and White Thai ethnic villages.
Mai Hich - Upon arrival in Mai Hich village, check into your accommodation and savor a lunch prepared by the host. Later, explore Mai Hich by walking along the trails and concrete roads. The stunning landscapes, where villages, rice fields, mountains, and streams blend beautifully, will captivate you. Take the chance to interact with the friendly locals, who are always eager to invite you into their homes for a cup of tea.
Sam Khoe - Continue trekking through rice fields and small communities to Sam Khoe, a Thai village untouched by tourism. Enjoy the harmony of nature’s beauty and rich cultural heritage. At the end of the trek, a driver will pick you up and transfer you back to your accommodation.
Note: A private traditional music and dance show by local people is available for an additional cost of $35 per group. Please ask the guide to make a reservation if interested.
Mai Chau - Pu Luong - Ninh Binh
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 8:00 AM: Depart from Mai Hich and head directly to Eo Ken, 30 km away, home to the Muong ethnic group. Walk down the slope and enjoy the spectacular views of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, rice field terraces, and mountains. Visit a Muong ethnic family in Eo Ken village to learn about their authentic lifestyle. Continue walking through this beautiful landscape and cross a stream to reach Hang Village.
Mai Chau - Picked up by car and transferred to Mai Chau for lunch. Afterward, depart for Ninh Binh, with an optional stop along the way to stretch your legs or capture photos of the scenic daily life. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, check into your accommodation.
Van Long - Ninh Binh - Hanoi
Van Long Nature Reserve - Continue the trip along the stream and among the limestone mountains to discover the beauty of Van Long Nature Reserve. If fortunate, you might spot the rare Delacour’s langurs and flocks of white storks soaring through the sky. Sometimes the langurs descend to the foot of the mountain to drink water, while at other times they bask in the sun high on the peak of Hoang Quyen Mountain.
Ninh Binh - Leave your bike at the homestay and bid farewell to the host. Travel from Ninh Binh to Hanoi, enjoying the scenic views of the Red River Delta along the way. You can opt for a rest stop to stretch your legs or take photos of daily life. Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
