• Get Wet Surf School - Upon arriving at The Spit, Doug Jennings Park, you’ll find our office situated behind the Seaway Cafe. Simply walk between the cafe and the amenities block to enter through the back gate.
  Upon arrival, there will be a few minutes to check in and receive your equipment before heading as a group to the beach to begin the lesson. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time, the class may have started without you, and it will be too late to join as you won’t have your equipment.
  Once on the beach, the instructors will go over essential safety procedures and surf techniques before you experience the excitement of the waves. The instructors will do their best to capture some photos of you, but they will prioritize your safety over taking selfies, so please follow their instructions carefully if you want great pictures.
  After the lesson, you’ll return to the shack to view the photos, share a few high fives, and leave with a smile on your face.
  To ensure a prompt start on the beach, please arrive on time, wear your swimwear, and complete the medical form via the link in your confirmation email.

Anyone can now experience the thrill of a surfing lesson at one of the area’s best surf schools. You’ll have fun, be safe and you won't believe how easy it will be to get up and riding! Learning to surf is an amazing experience and an awesome thing to do while in Surfers Paradise. This surf lesson caters to ages 12 and up with dedicated children’s lesson available during school holidays, all levels of fitness and no swimming abilities needed due to the safe location the lessons are conducted. Our lessons operate on a 1 instructor per 5 participant ratio so we are deemed one of the safest surf schools compared to most!

• Please provide your own swimwear
• Please refrain from bringing any valuables to the beach
• Minimum age for Group Surf Lesson is 14 years old (Childrens only lessons availabe, contact supplier)
• Please ensure that the phone number you provide us with is the one that we can contact you on, on the day of the surf lesson
• Please ensure that you have organised your own transport to the Spit Beach as public transport terminates at Seaworld and it is a 3 km walk from there to our surf location
