Fun and educational - We were supposed to be picked up from our hotel at 8:30 in the morning, but our driver had an accident on the way to pick us up. Thankfully, he was OK, but our tour had to be canceled. The tour operator made it up to us by rescheduling the same afternoon and giving us an extra winery with snacks. We ended up with a private tour for just our group of four. Our guide, Claudia, was absolutely fantastic. We had such a nice time on this tour and really learned a lot.

A Very Tasty Tour - Pablo our guide and Mario our driver picked us up at our hotel, exactly on time. they took us to a chocolate factory—Choclezza, where we were given an excellent tour with plenty of samples. We had many questions which were all answered. The shop is beautiful and the two women working there were very pleasant. From there we drove to an artisanal olive oil plant, Olivicola Boutique Pasrai. The guide here was very enthusiastic and we learned exactly what to look for when buying Olive Oil: extra virgin, with less than .5% acidity. The samples we were given were excellent and we each had our favorites. And then on to Vistandes Winery. Here the main building is surrounded by vineyards. We had a tour of the areas for grape processing and then a tasting out on the beautiful balcony overlooking the vines. Pablo was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. It was a very fun tour. I only wish it had been one of our first tours because we learned so much and could have added more to our stay in Mendoza.

Chocolate, olive oil & wine. What more I there?! - Just perfect. Juan-Pablo was excellent, very easy going and informative. And not to mention fluent in Spanish & English. The pick up was on time, the vehicle was very comfortable and well driven, and the whole trip was wonderful.
Combining chocolate, olive oil and wine was inspired. We learned a great deal about the processing of all 3 major food groups! This was just the right length of trip for us, especially after our 12-hour Andes trip the day before.
Thank you Juan.

If you came to Mendoza and you don't eat chocolates, olives and wine, why did you come? - The best experience you can live to know part of the local industry. Chocolates, Olives and Wine the best combination.

Great value for money. - Very good value for money and spent the right amount of time in each venue. Pablo our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Mendoza and the surrounding areas as we drove along. He was very easy to talk to and understand. His English was very good.
The chocolate and olive making process was very interesting and well described. The olives and chocolate tasting was great and we purchased some of each which were both delicious.
The vineyard and wine making process was also fascinating. The quality of the wine at the tasting was acceptable but not fantastic.
Overall good value for money and something different to just wine tasting.

Great Tour Guide But Bait & Switch on the Chocolate Shop - The tour guide was excellent, but the experience involved a disappointing “bait and switch” regarding the chocolate shop. The tour website specifically advertised a visit to Chocoleeza, known for its wide selection of alfajores—one of Argentina’s signature treats. Instead, we were taken to a lower-quality shop with mediocre chocolate, stale products, and a very limited selection of alfajores.
When I asked the guide about the change, he was unaware of any difference from the advertised itinerary. While the rest of the tour met expectations, missing the opportunity to visit Chocoleeza was a major letdown, as I was particularly looking forward to sampling a high-quality variety of alfajores. Overall, this substitution felt misleading, and I would not recommend this tour.
