  Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was the pioneer in establishing the boundaries for Haram. Following the guidance of Angel Jibrael (A.S), Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) maintained these boundaries. They remained unchanged until Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) tasked Hazrat Tamim Ibn-e-Khazai (R.A) with reconstructing them. During Hazrat Umar’s (R.A) leadership, he appointed four Qurayshis to renew these boundaries.

  Mount Arafat, also known as Jabal ar-Rahmah, is located southeast of Makkah in Saudi Arabia. On the ninth day of Dhul Hajj, Muslim pilgrims journey from Mina to Mount Arafat, where they stand and recite verses from the Holy Quran in deep reflection. It was on Mount Arafat that the revered Prophet Muhammad PBUH delivered his final sermon to the Muslims accompanying him on Hajj.
