Ngoyla Faunal Reserve - Departure from Ntam with our staff early in the morning, and arrival to the Mbango Bai morning after 1 hour of 4WD transfer plus 1 hour of forest walking; whole day wildlife spotting such as forest elephants, gorillas, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, birds, etc; sleeping in tents near to the Bai (the campsite will be secured by our rangers).

The Ngoyla Faunal Reserve is the most easily accessible protected area in the famously wildlife-rich Cameroonian TRIDOM area. Its boundary can be reached within 7 hours from Yaoundé with a city car; however, moving inside the forest block requires a 4WD car, and is permission dependent. The reserve provides shelter to all iconic rainforest species, such as forest elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, buffaloes, sitatungas, among others… The Mbango and Namodomo bais are natural forest cleanings, which enable our guests to spot forest animals that enjoy the mineral-rich mud outside the dense forest. Visiting these bais and spending a night in the rainforest provides a true expedition experience with limited time and budget.
