Tumpak Sewu Waterfall - Rise early for breakfast before embarking on a 2-hour drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Meet with a local guide to visit one of Indonesia’s most popular waterfalls. After spending 2-3 hours enjoying the waterfall, proceed to the next hotel in the Bromo area. Upon arrival, enjoy leisure time exploring the hotel surroundings, nearby farms, observing the daily life of the Tenggerese people, or simply relaxing at the hotel.

Sunrise Mt Penanjakan - Sea of Sand - Bromo Crater - Bondowoso/Banyuwangi

National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru - Prepare for a 3:00 am pickup by a 4WD vehicle to navigate the rugged terrain to Mt. Penanjakan 1, the prime location for witnessing the stunning Bromo sunrise. Descend through the expansive sea of sand, formed by Mt. Bromo’s eruption, on a 30-minute easy trail to the summit. From the crater rim, enjoy views of the active Bromo crater, caldera, and the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Batok and Java Island’s tallest peak, Mt. Semeru. Discover the Hindu temple that reflects Majapahit history. If fortunate, observe the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, honoring Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng, the daughter of King Majapahit, and Joko Seger, the son of Brahmana. After breakfast, travel to the Mount Ijen area in Banyuwangi/Bondowoso for an overnight hotel stay.

Mount Ijen - Ketapang Port or Surabaya/Malang

Ijen Crater - Prepare for an early start with a 11:30 PM pickup from the hotel. The journey begins with a drive to Paltuding, followed by a one-hour trek to Ijen Crater.
