Doesn't Seem Designed for International Tourists - This experience was not a good fit for us. Transportation to the beach was on a short bus. The vehicle had no air conditioning and appeared quite worn, with open windows that allowed a lot of road dust inside and a noticeable burning smell. Despite the tour company setting the pickup location, when the bus arrived we were asked to cross a busy road with heavy traffic to reach it. Other tour companies were also picking up passengers at that location, and their buses were noticeably newer, air-conditioned, and pulled up directly next to passengers rather than across the street. When we asked about the bus arrival time, we were told it would arrive in 2 minutes, but it took closer to 20 minutes. The ride itself was loud and uncomfortable, with passengers shouting and laughing at high volume and crying children moving around freely and touching other passengers’ belongings. The beach area had visible trash, and the overall environment felt rough. There was a ₹200 INR fee for a locker, though we were allowed to use one without charge because we did not have cash. Walking on the beach was uncomfortable due to debris—water shoes were very helpful. My companion didn't participate in any of the beach side activities, because she had not brought water shoes and felt unsafe walking along the trash strewn beach. During the activities, safety procedures felt limited. I was thrown off one ride, and riders behind me collided with me, resulting in bumps and bruises. Scuba equipment appeared to be reused between participants with only a quick rinse. My companion felt unwell immediately after taking a breath from the regulator and was unable to continue with parasailing. Because of this, she spent a long period waiting at the site, as we were told it would be expensive to return early. There were no bathroom facilities. At the restaurant, food was served buffet-style. Nobody from our bus seemed to wash their hands or use sanitizer. We observed shared utensils being handled frequently and chose not to eat. This tour may work better for travelers who are familiar with local setups and expectations. It was not a comfortable or enjoyable experience for us.
