• Riomaggiore - Following the visit to Manarola, the next stop is the village of Riomaggiore. Perched on a cliff, it features a castle that commands the coast from a strategic vantage point, and the Church of S. Giovanni, dating back to the 13th century, reflecting its medieval past. The colorful facades of its houses add to its uniqueness. A swim at the small pebble beach of Rio is highly recommended for its beauty.

• Portovenere - After exploring the picturesque villages of Manarola and Riomaggiore, the journey continues along the Ligurian coast to the captivating town of Portovenere. This seaside treasure, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, shares rich cultural and historical connections with the Cinque Terre. Its pastel-colored houses rising above the harbor create a picture-perfect scene, while the Church of San Pietro, dramatically perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, offers stunning views. Visitors can wander through the narrow medieval streets, discover the romantic Byron’s Cave, and admire the impressive Doria Castle that once defended the village. Portovenere beautifully represents the balance between humanity and nature, art and landscape, making it an unforgettable stop before proceeding on the scenic drive toward Pisa.

• Piazza dei Miracoli - In the afternoon, after leaving Cinque Terre and driving 1.5 hours towards Pisa, visitors will arrive at the renowned Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Here, they can marvel at the beauty of Pisan Romanesque architecture as part of the monumental complex, and visit the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Camposanto, along with the famous Leaning Tower. (Tickets for entry to the Cathedral and the Tower are not included) After this visit filled with memories and discoveries, the journey will continue back to Florence, concluding the tour.
