Start of the Adventure

Meeting of Waters - The adventure kicks off with a pickup in Manaus. The journey proceeds to Ceasa Port, where a speedboat awaits to take you along the Rio Negro River to the Meeting of the Waters. Following this, a 1-hour car ride leads to the quaint village of Cachoeira do Castanho. From there, a speedboat ride of 20 to 30 minutes (depending on water levels) takes you to Jacareubau Creek. Here, you can enjoy a unique experience with the river dolphins at the floating deck. The journey continues by boat to the opposite riverbank to visit the Tatuyos indigenous village, where you will partake in a traditional welcome dance and learn about their culture. The trip then proceeds up the Rio Negro for about an hour to reach the Lodge.

Upon arrival at the lodge at 12:30 pm, guests are greeted with refreshments while accommodations are arranged.

Parque Nacional de Anavilhanas - Lunch is served at noon, followed by some leisure time to prepare for the day’s activities. At 3:00 pm, the group embarks on a motorized canoe to fish for piranhas, observe vibrant birds, and witness a breathtaking sunset from the river’s heart. After returning to the lodge, dinner is served at 7:00 pm.

Jungle Expedition

Novo Airao - Breakfast is available at 7:00 am at the lodge. From 8:00 am to 11:30 am, a jungle trek is scheduled. The guide will share insights about medicinal plants and the various insects and spiders inhabiting the area. At noon, the group returns to the lodge for lunch.

At 3:00 pm, the group departs by boat to explore the Anavilhanas archipelago. The exploration includes wildlife spotting (from February to August) and a jungle walk during the dry season. On the return to the lodge, there will be a stop to enjoy the sunset. Dinner is served upon return, followed by a motorized canoe trip to spot the elusive Cayman using a flashlight.

Jungle Expedition

Parque Nacional de Anavilhanas - After breakfast (8 am-11 am), the group visits the local community to learn about their culture and life along the Negro River. There is an opportunity to purchase handcrafted items made by locals using natural materials from the Amazon Jungle. The group returns to the lodge for lunch.

Post-lunch, the group embarks on a boat trip to explore small creeks and channels for wildlife spotting. There is also a chance to swim in the river, with many beaches available during the dry season. The group then returns to the lodge.

Jungle Expedition

Parque Nacional de Anavilhanas - From 5:30 am to 6:30 am, a small canoe ride offers a chance to witness nature awakening as the day begins, with birds and creatures breaking the silence. After breakfast at 08:00 am, the journey back to Manaus begins, with an estimated arrival at 11:00 am. The tour concludes at either the hotel or the airport.
