Start of the Journey
Meeting of Waters - At 8:00 AM, guests will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the Ceasa port. From there, a speedboat will transport the group to the Meeting of the Waters, where the Negro River and the Solimões River converge. Start of the Journey
Meeting of Waters - At 8:00 AM, guests will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the Ceasa port. From there, a speedboat will transport the group to the Meeting of the Waters, where the Negro River and the Solimões River converge. Following this, the group will proceed to the village of Careiro da Várzea on the opposite riverbank. The entire boat ride lasts approximately 40 minutes. Upon reaching Careiro da Várzea, the journey continues by car for about 50 minutes to the River Paraná do Mamori. The final leg of the trip is a 45-minute speedboat ride, arriving at the lodge around 11:30 AM, where lunch will be served.
At 2:30 PM, activities commence as the group departs by motorized boat to the campsite for the upcoming days. Here, participants will set up their hammocks for an overnight stay.
Camping Out in the Forest
Juma Floating Lodge (Pousada Do Nilson) - Depart early in the morning for another jungle hike, offering a wonderful opportunity to explore more of the Amazon rainforest and spot wildlife. After returning to camp for breakfast, guests will board a boat to navigate through channels and small creeks (water level permitting), providing excellent chances to observe birds and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading back to Manaus. Departure for Manaus is at 1:30 PM, with an expected arrival around 4:30 PM.
