Soon to be famous Miles with Mike tour of Manchester Tour - “The Miles with Mike, soon to be famous” tour of Manchester did not disappoint today. Mike was very informative, stopping at several landmarks and taking souvenir photographs. I have found a new fondness of Manchester and its rich history. Mikes cheery demeanour is exactly as comes across on social media. Could have spent all day chatting but length of trip and value for money was incredible. 100% book because you will not be disappointed!

An amazing trip down memory lane - My two best friends treated me to a Miles with Mike black cab tour of Manchester for my 70th birthday, and it was such a special experience. They’d briefed Mike beforehand on the places I’d lived and worked around Manchester, and he managed to weave them all into the tour, along with some fascinating historical stops of his own. I had the best time. Mike kept us entertained and laughing throughout, and I like to think I even managed to add a few extra historical facts about our great city myself — although I completely forgot to mention “Heart Attack Hill” 😂. From start to finish, the whole trip was brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, whether you’re visiting Manchester for the first time or have lived here all your life. It also makes a wonderfully different and thoughtful gift for someone special. I’m already looking forward to coming back and doing Mike’s full tour next time — without my personal detours! Tour on Approach! - Having followed Mike on Instagram for some time, booking a soon to be famous taxi tour was only a matter of time. Despite being relative locals we learnt so much about places in Manchester we took for granted. Stories, laughter and smiles as we went along, and and afternoon not to forget. A great suprise for one of our 4 who wasn't in the know.

First Rate Car Service in Manchester - My husband and I arrived in Manchester Piccadilly Station by train from a week in Edinburgh. The next day we had the pleasure of meeting Mike Daniels and had our first personal encounter with Manchester Taxi Tours. Later our son-in-law flew in from the USA and joined us in Manchester. Mike's black cab became our second home! Several months earlier, I'd reached out to Mike with a list of places near Manchester that after doing genealogy research I'd found where my husband's father's family had been born, married or died that we might like to visit. Mike realistically helped me plan three day trips, as well as a Manchester city tour and trip to Manchester City Stadium (our grandson in New Jersey's a big fan) in Ardwick and to Levenshulme two places on my list of family places to see. Our first day we drove to the seaside to Lytham St Anne's and Blackpool. Another day Mike drove us to Ashford-in-the-Water and Bradwell, two family places on my list, with visits to Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House in the scenic Peaks Natinal Park area. Mike found us a delightful Aisseford Tea Shop in Ashford for scones and the local famous Bakewell tarts. I would like to point out that Mike's Manchester city tour is outstanding and we learned so much about the city's port history and diversity. We viewed the system of canals the city is built on. Although we'd planned to take the train from Manchester to Liverpool we instead asked Mike if his schedule allowed could he drive us and we are glad we did. His cab, as in hackney carriages accommodated our luggage up front. Mike was most gracious, charming and professional and his cab was comfortable and clean. Both my husband and I are in our 80's and I do need to use a cane and Mike was always there to offer assistance. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Daniels' services if you are in need of a car and driver in Manchester and greater Manchester. You will not be disappointed.
