Kandy to Mandaram Nuwara

Mandaramnuwara - The journey begins with an early morning pickup, heading to the Mandaram Nuwara camping site after a 1km walk. The adventure continues with a hike through the jungle to Kodiyaragala Mountain. The path was slightly slippery with some leeches. Villagers rely on natural water sources for their daily needs. After a 3-hour hike, the peak was reached, offering breathtaking views before returning to the campsite. It was truly an adventurous hike. As the sky darkened and the sun hid behind the mountains, a fire was lit, and delicious food was enjoyed. The wind grew stronger due to the campsite being surrounded by mountains.

Mandaram Nuwara to Kandy

Mandaramnuwara - The following morning was spent exploring waterfalls before returning to the village. A refreshing and safe bath was taken before heading back to Kandy.
