- Moodabidri - Proceed to Moodabidri, a 30-minute journey from Karkala. This town is a significant hub for Jainism in India and is often called Jain Kashi. It boasts no fewer than 18 Jain temples. The construction of the temple took 31 years to complete.
After visiting the temple, explore a local bazaar in Moodabidri, where visitors from nearby areas purchase fruits, vegetables, spices, clothing, food items, and other daily necessities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe daily life in this region.
The next destination is a fruit and spice plantation. Guests can stroll through the plantation and learn about the various spices, fruits, and other products cultivated here. They can also sample the renowned pineapples if desired. The farm offers spices for purchase (at guests’ own expense).
At the conclusion of the visit, enjoy lunch (beverages not included) at a local restaurant near Moodabidri.
