Great tour. - The half day tour was really good if you have never been there before. The guide took us to the top of a hill so we could see both bays, then up the coast. We then went down past the port and is that impressive. We had 45 minutes to wander around the main port area for shopping and a beer. Then it was off to see the iguanas, that was very cool seeing all of them on the ground and in the trees. Some iguanas are quite colorful and large. The tour guide was quite knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had.

Fabulous - Daniel is an excellent guide for anything in and around Manzanillo. If he doesn’t know something he will find out. City tour was very informative. He did whatever he could to make our trip extremely enjoyable. He could not control the red tide in the ocean but did his very best to get us to a spot that was not as bad as other areas. We recommend Danitours to anyone visiting the Manzanillo area. Thank you again Daniel for a fabulous day!

Enjoyable tour - They did a good job, considering that Manzanillo does not have much to see. We did not receive the advertised bottles of water or soda, and we did not go to the local fruit market. The beach was very nice. The animals in bare cages at the iguana sanctuary were sad. Our guide Daniel did a good job.

Very good tour company - Walked off the cruise ship in Mazanillo and booth was right there. Non aggressive, friendly people. Tour was very good, informative. Bus was very comfortable. Stopped at great places and saw so much of Mazanillo. Would definitely recommend this tour company. Saw more than the people who booked thru the ship.

Some interesting bits but rather disorganised. - Booked this tour through TripAdvisor to start at 9am as cruise ship was leaving port quite early. We arrived at the meeting point to be told to come back at 10am. Walk-ups were receiving the same tour at $10 cheaper. We did not want to spend time on the beach at the end of the tour, so we were told we could catch the shuttle back. The shuttle was running late so we were returned in a taxi squashed in with another couple. Would not recommend booking this tour in advance.

Disappointing - We were the only two on the tour, so rather than do the actual tour, the owner drove us around and showed us some sights. Including a stop at a local mall
I can understand that it would not be economical for the owner to arrange a full tour with a guide for two people, so he should have told us the tour would not operate that day and just refund our money

Over committed by Danitours - The half-day tour became a 5.5-hour trip because our bus was called to do another tour during our break at El Huachinango restaurant. We had to wait for an additional hour before some of us got on their van. Someone left his stuff in the bus had to wait for the original bus. The tour guide should have told us the possible long wait up front and don't leave belongings on the bus to avoid the chaos. Not well organized.

Tour not as advertised. - The guide was good, but the tour was advertised as a small group tour with special attention from the guide, but we were loaded onto a full sized bus with about 35 other tourists. The tour itself was not exactly as described--we ended the tour in a restaurant where we could buy lunch if we wanted to, and spent more than an hour there. As a result the whole tour took five and a half hours. The tour description promised that bottled water and soft drinks were included, but we were able to get ours at the restaurant only after showing the tour guide the published Viator description. He told us that only our package included drinks, which was obviously false, and for that reason we should not say anything to others on the tour. The guide himself was pretty good and the places we visited were O.K. We will not use Danitours again because of the deceptive advertising.

This trip was just money ripping off! - Don't book this city tour! Manzanillo is an industrial port. And the information about how many supermarkets and fast food chains there are is not sightseeing. And I personally don't need a 45-minute stop at a shopping mall.
Our booked tour was combined with a transport tour to the beach. We had to sit in a beach bar for 90 minutes and wait until the beach visitors came back! Since we had booked a city tour we did not have a swim kit with us.
In the restaurant, you were constantly harassed by street vendors!

Do not book - I do not recommend this tour. At our last stop the bus left us off and did not return when expected. It was a full bus of people who were left an hour and a half past the time we were told. It was very stressful. All but 4 of us got on other vans or paid extra for a taxi. When the bus finally arrived it was obvious that it transported another group before it came back for us. Our belongings were moved and there were empty soda cans at our seat as evidence.
