The Cajón de los Arenales trek offers a moderately challenging adventure in the Andean foothills. The journey begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation, followed by a scenic drive through the charming wine region. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the southern face of Mount El Plata and the majestic Tupungato Volcano.

Upon reaching the starting point of the trek, embark on a 3-hour journey surrounded by the unique flora (primarily shrubs) and fauna of this arid high-altitude region. Near the trek’s conclusion, a short stretch of rocky terrain will require some additional effort.
