• Moray - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cusco, and it’s important to remember to bring the Cusco Tourist Ticket! Riding on quad bikes, the journey will take them through remote villages and stunning natural landscapes, all enhanced by the beauty of the Sacred Valley.

The Moray platforms, featuring circular terraces that create varied microclimates for agricultural production as practiced by the Incas, will be a highlight with stops for relaxation and local appreciation. The first stop will be in Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory where more than 250 plant species were cultivated during the Inca period.

• Maras - After completing the excursion, the tour will proceed to Maras, a quaint town showcasing both colonial and Inca features.
• Salinas de Maras - The next visit will be to the Salineras, a collection of over 3,000 salt mines that have been used by locals for salt extraction since pre-Columbian times. After all activities are concluded, the return to Cusco will follow, with drop-off at the guests’ accommodation.

This salt is harvested as the water evaporates over time and is sold locally, with some also exported internationally. In Maras, there will be an opportunity to wander through the streets of this quaint town, exploring its historic center and taking in the beautiful surrounding scenery.
