Private Charter in Marathon FL - If you're looking for the best private fishing charter experience, look no further than Captain Ed! From start to finish, he made our trip absolutely unforgettable. His knowledge of the best fishing spots, patience with beginners, and passion for the sport made the whole experience fun and successful.
The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and Ed went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We caught plenty of fish, enjoyed beautiful views, and even learned some pro tips along the way. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, Captain Ed makes sure everyone has a fantastic time.
I highly recommend booking with Ed—he’s the real deal! Can’t wait to go again!

Great fishing charter for all levels! We'll be back! - I booked a 4 hour charter with Capt. Ed for 5 Adults (one Dad and four college guys). Our experience level was from zero to average. There was more than enough space, gear and supplies. Capt Ed and his son Michael helped keep everything moving and gave everyone tips and directions on how to land fish. We had a great time and would do it again anytime. Easy access to the docks and a great location on Marathon Key.

An incredible, curated charter experience - We did a 4 hour charter and could not have asked for a better experience. We caught so many incredible fish - yellow tail jacks, Spanish mackerel, snapper, hog fish, and more! Some of the largest and most unique fish we’d ever caught! The father/son duo of Captain Ed and first mate Mikey were super knowledgeable about the area and where to fish for different species. I don’t love baiting my own line, and never needed to - Mikey always had bait at the ready. When our time was up, he had our catch filleted in no time. They even recommended a local restaurant that prepared our catch for dinner. We loved our sea to table experience and will definitely be booking with them again on our next trip to Marathon! Highly recommend.

Best Charter for Families! Lots of fish 🐟 - Fantastic! Best fishing charter we have ever been on. In fact, the first trip was so good we booked a second Charter during our trip . Captain Ed and his first mate Mikey (son) were very friendly and knowledgeable in our trip. Great experience for families! My boys wanted to catch lots of fish and my husband wanted to catch some fish that would put up a fight Captain Ed delivered on both! Despite weather conditions, they put us right in the best places to catch what we wanted. He even slowed the boat down to have the dolphins play in the wake for us. Captain Ed give us some restaurant suggestions that served hook and cook options that were amazing with our catch. He even recommended how we should pack our fish to keep them frozen on our flight home. We were able to bring lots of fish home to share with ourfamily when we got back. Don't wait to book your fishing excursion with Wet Tails Charters, you don't want to settle for another company! We will definitely refer our friends and when we are in the area and we will book again with Wet Tails Charters!! Thank you Captain Ed and Mikey for a great experience!

A great day in February - Had a great trip catching yellow jacks and sierra macs with Captain Ed and mate Mikey. They are both knowledgeable and extremely helpful and certain know where and when the fish are biting. The equipment provided was high quality and it's clear that they quickly assess your skill level and respond accordingly. We'll be fishing again with them in the future.

Exciting fishing for family - Captain Ed and first assistant Mikey were very knowledgeable and patient with us. I took my 2 sons (14 and 11) and father in law a few days before Thanksgiving. We all had a blast. We trolled for Mahi on the first portion of the trip about 10 miles from shore and 400 foot depth. We caught 4 Mahi (lost one as we were reeling) and then headed to 7 mile bridge and caught several jacks, snapper, and other fish. The trip lasted from 8-145. They cleaned the fish for us and we made delicious fried fish tacos the same night. I would highly recommend Captain Ed and We Tail charters.

Amazing day on the water! - Everything about this trip with Wet Tails Charter was excellent! Ed and his sons showed my husband and I a wonderful time! They were fun to be talk to and very knowledgeable about all the fish we caught. If you are thinking of doing a fishing trip in the Keys, look no further! The rates were very reasonable for a private charter and you will catch fish! Ed will even recommend where you can take them so they can cook them for you. We ended up going to Island Fish Company, but we also have enough fish for a second night too! Ed will have plenty of ice, but bring a small cooler with you to take the fish home. We will definitely book with Wet Tails again!

Great fishing experience. - Great fishing experience with Captain Ed and Mikey. Would definitely recommend and also repeat. They made our little family vacation just more memorable. He even recommend a local restaurant which would prepare our fresh catch. We can't wait to return.
