Bahrain - Bahrain is a town in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, situated 60 km north of Mingora at an elevation of 4,700 feet on the right bank of the Swat River. It is named Bahrain (meaning “two rivers”) due to its location at the junction of the Daral and Swat rivers. The town is renowned for its riverside tourist resorts, local handicrafts, and the scenic view of the merging Daral and Swat Rivers. It also serves as a base camp for the trail leading to the Daral and Saidgai lakes.

A recent discovery includes a stone ‘board’ game found at the Buddhist Complex of Amluk-Dara, similar to a game still played in the valley today.
