• Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks (Hin Ta Hin Yai) - These iconic rock formations are a must-see on Koh Samui, located near Lamai Beach. Known as Grandfather Rock and Grandmother Rock, they are simple granite formations that have gained fame due to their resemblance to male and female genitalia.

• Wat Khunaram (Mummified Monk) - Visitors are captivated by the mystique and unpredictability of Buddhism here. The revered monk is said to have accurately predicted his own death. Prior to passing, he consumed more spices with antiseptic properties, allowing his body to be preserved without decay. At the temple, sunglasses are placed on his face to cover the voids. Visitors can offer incense and flowers to the mummified monk, with a merit box available for donations. Offerings such as flowers, candles, and incense are available, and visitors can choose to donate or take them. Additionally, visitors can request a lottery, which the monks will bless with holy water.

• Na Mueang - Namuang Waterfall 1 is a highlight of the falls, offering a refreshing and cool base.

• Ko Samui - The journey up the mountain to this restaurant offers breathtaking views. The food is freshly prepared and of high quality, with reasonable prices despite the remote location.

• Wat Teepangkorn - This stunning temple, featuring a standing Buddha, is nestled in the jungle high in the mountains of Koh Samui.

• Tarnim Magic Garden - Also known as the Secret Garden or Secret Buddha Garden, this enchanting place is located in the hills of Koh Samui. Created by local fruit farmer Nim Thongsuk in 1976 at the age of 77, the garden is beautifully landscaped with native flowers and trees, and features numerous Buddha statues depicting various ideals. A tour guide will explain the significance of each statue. A small stream and a series of miniature waterfalls wind through the garden. Access is only possible via a 4x4 through the jungle, rivers, and mountains. The roads are impressive, but it’s advisable to stick to the main route.
