From there, discover the marina’s secret waterways and wildlife habitats. Marina del Rey hosts vibrant colonies of California sea lions, visible on nearly every tour. You’ll also see brown pelicans, great blue herons, cormorants, and occasionally dolphins. Your guide will provide insights into the local ecosystem, marine life behavior, and navigation techniques as you paddle.
This experience is more than just a wildlife tour — it’s both an educational session and an adventure. You’ll depart with paddleboarding skills and the experience of observing LA’s coastal wildlife up close. Paddle Method has been transforming individuals into paddlers since 2010 and is the sole ASI-accredited SUP school in the Marina del Rey area.
Available every day of the week, all year round. The 8:30 AM session offers the calmest waters, perfect for beginners and families. The 10:30 AM session is ideal for those seeking a more dynamic paddle with a gentle sea breeze.
