Beautiful, relaxing experience - Dalyan cruise was beautiful, great areas on the boats to see the views.
Lunch was great and the fresh crab ( extra cost) was delicious.
The mud bath/ therma bath was great fun and a great way to fully relax and unwind.
Veronika was helpful and kind, and without her great eye for the turtles, we wouldn’t have been so lucky to see them as quickly.
Overall a lovely experience and highly recommended.
Thank you Veronika ☺️

Day trip to Dalyan with Jet2holidays - This was the highlight of our holiday in Turkey!
We booked through Jet2. We had a wonderful tour guide, Murat for the whole experience. He really made it special! He was knowledgeable and very hospitable. He gave us the opportunity to purchase extras during the trip and informed us of local traditions. However, he made it clear there was no pressure to purchase any extras unless we wanted to. This attitude really put us at ease. We did opt to purchase extras including photos and drinks during the trip. But these were very reasonably priced.
I loved all the local knowledge and passion for Turkish life being shared. I especially loved hearing about Captain June who set up the sea turtle sanctuary in Dalyan.
The mud baths were a lot of fun! It was my youngest teen's favourite part of the holiday. Our skin felt silky soft afterwards!
The natural beauty of Dalyan is something that is really special. I would love to stay in a riverside hotel in the future! Turtle beach, the river, lake and the tombs were stunning. We were lucky enough to spot some turtles, as well as other amazing sights. Too many to mention! The optional 2 course lunch at Portakal hotel was delicious and good value for money (£7 per person). The whole experience was professional and well organised but more importantly had heart.

Great trip - was absolutely worth it! - Beautiful ride - was not crowded at the end of October and space everywhere, no crowding. Thanks to mud bath five years younger 😝
Hotel pickup worked out well.

Great experience but watch out that you don't get caught out - Enjoyable experience. Sat at the front of the boat with lovely views. They did go on a bit about buying extra food but didn't pressure me the way that other people in marmaris had. We spent quite a bit of extra money on drinks that wernt included in the trip. You will also need money to buy extra food in the evening as you don't get back to marmaris until about 7pm. Bit annoyed about the blue crab situation. The blue crab is advertised in the food menu so thought I'd be able to eat some of this myself. However when we received it we were told it was to throw to the turtles and it even smelt off therefore wasn't willing to even try it. Also told that the drinks on the river boats was cheaper than at turtle beach which wasn't true. I don't like being lied to and it puts me off doing anything else with a business. However the experience itself was great. Saw a few turtles in the river side. Mud bath was quite fun. Was a nice touch for the boat staff to encourage people to dance at the end. The most fun we have had all holiday.

A good day touring a long the river - The mud baths was very good but would have liked to have a longer time there. Seeing the turtles really made the trip that much more exciting. We both had good time cruising along the river.

long winded tour - the tour was nice it started off with a coach ride from marmaris to a lake where you boared a small boat crossed the lake in to the river really picturesque stopped at the mud baths nice to [not for me ] back on the boat passed the impressive tombs down to the turtle beach and saw turtles all good then instead of boating to marmris by sea we had a 2 hour boat trip back up the river then an hour and half coach trip back the trip is to long also the lunch was basic and after emailing before hand there was gluten free option didnt even try

Once is enough. - An hour's drive from Marmaris in a bus that made strong grinding noises in the curves. Then on the boat with about 25 people(said were at most 15 people) .
No German explanations, the tour guide spoke only English. (we had ordered German tour guide)
Drinks and ice cream cost between 2 and 5 euros.
Lunch consisted of cold pasta with tomato sauce, a piece of fried chicken steak and salad.
The river trip takes a good 2 hours and the same way back. Scenic location very nice and now in April not crowded.
The mud bath and sulphur bath was very interesting and odorous.
Overall, a long day that you only have to do once.

Anticipation was very high and unfortunately not fulfilled - We rated this excursion as defective, as the performance given was misleading and did not correspond to the fact.
Otherwise we would have chosen the trip with another provider.
1. Languages of the tour guide were specified with English/Russian/German, the language was requested separately during the order process and specified with German by us. Unfortunately, the tour guide only knew English and Russian and gave a lot of information, which we unfortunately did not understand.
2. Max. Group size 15 people
We were actually 25 people.
3. There is no reference that we drive to the lake by bus an hour. we wanted a complete boat trip on the coast as described. These offers are available from other providers.
Now some impressions
We were the first to mud bathe, which was great.
Food on the boat was good
There was a meal of noodles with chicken.
The second meal of fish or crab costs extra this information was of course only available in English and Russian.
Prices for snacks and drinks were fair and the staff very friendly.
The rock tombs were worth seeing
And the turtle beach invited you to bathe.

Disappointed - We booked and paid for this trip through the rep at our hotel in Icmeler. Needless to say, we've since found out we paid over the odds. We were told 5 o'clock finish, when actually we didn't get back to hotel until after 7 pm. He also didn't tell us its actually over 2 hours on the boat there and then back and we got less than an hour at Turtle Beach. Plus we only saw 2 turtles. The trip was meant to include stopping at a cave which didn't happen, no explanation given. The main problem being, the rep said we would be swimming with the turtles and showed us a picture of that out of a brochure. That's the main reason I went on the trip and took my swimming gear and towel with me. That never happened and we got told by an English woman on our return that there's no way you can swim with them as they can kill you! Deliberately misleading information from the rep I think! The staff on board the boat were unfriendly and aggressive and no one is allowed to take their own drinks on which I don't agree with. All in all a let down and rip off trip
