Marrakech - Imlil Valley

Imlil - Day One: The driver will meet the group at 9:00 am at the Hotel/Riad in Marrakech or at a designated pick-up location.

Begin the day trip to the Atlas Mountains, and after a 40-minute drive, pause to capture photos of the historic Berber village of Azrou.

There is also an option to visit a women-run Argan oil cooperative for a cup of mint tea with local bread, Argan oil, and peanut butter.

Continue the journey through the Moulay Brahim gorges and Asni valley.

Upon arrival in Imlil, meet the local guide and embark on a 4 to 5-hour walk to explore the Ait Mizane valley. The driver will transport the luggage directly to the overnight destination.

The hike will pass by the area’s main waterfall and the Berber villages of Imlil, including Targa Imoula, Achayn, Arghen, Mazzik, and others.

Stop in Armed to enjoy views of the highest peak in North Africa (Toubkal at 4167m) and the ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Ascend through the pine forest of Ouafghast to reach an altitude of 2200m above sea level, then descend to the village of Ait Souka for an overnight stay in a guest house.

Lunch can be enjoyed either in nature or at the guest house.

Imlil Valley - Azzaden Valley

Tizi Oussem - Day Two: After breakfast, the local guide and muleteer will assist in packing up luggage and heading to the next valley of Azzaden. Begin the day with a gentle walk down to the center of Imlil (1750m) before ascending to Tizi Mazzik (2480m). Lunch will be served in nature under the Juniper trees, offering stunning views of the peaks and valleys of the Atlas Mountains.

After lunch, continue hiking at the same level to reach the region’s largest waterfall.

Following a pleasant break by the waterfall, descend along the Shepherds’ paths to Tizi Oussem village for the second night (1900m).

Here, there is an opportunity to experience the Berber Hammam (Steam bath) at a very reasonable price, and guests can also participate in preparing dinner.

Azzaden Valley - Matat and Aguersioal Valley

High Atlas Mountains - Day Three: Enjoy breakfast on the rooftop of the guest house. Prepare for the final day’s hike with an easy walk along the dirt road to Idaissa village before switching to the path trail leading up to Tizi Oudid pass (2010m).

After enjoying some dried mixed nuts, follow the guide down through Matat village to reach Agrsioual village.

Lunch will be served by the river before meeting the driver for the return transfer to Marrakech.
