Marrakech – Imlil/ High Atlas Mountains (1740m)– Tizi Mzik (2684m)-Tamsoulte Waterfalls (2300m) Tizi Oussem Village
Tizi Oussem - Begin the day with breakfast in Marrakech, then embark on a drive towards the High Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, taking in the breathtaking views of the villages along the valley.
Upon reaching Imlil (65km from Marrakech), meet the guide and muleteer to commence the trek. Ascend the Tizi Mzik pass (2684m) for a stunning view over the Imlil Valley and Toubkal Summit. Continue to Tamsoulte to see the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m high), then descend through the Azzaden Valley’s juniper forest to reach Tizi Oussem village.
Spend the night at the guesthouse in the village. 6 hours of walking.
Tizi Oussem (1850m) – Id Issa Village (1800m) – Tizi Oudid (2000m) – Mattat – Agersioual – Tineghrine
Hôtel Atlas Asni - After breakfast, enjoy the sunshine over this vibrant valley and its charming Berber villages. Depart Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa village, then ascend to the Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m). Pass through Matat village after traversing a wild thurifer juniper forest, enjoy lunch under walnut groves, and relax by the river. Then, ascend to Tizi ‘n Ageursiwal (2000m) and descend to Imnane Valley to spend the night in a Berber house.
Imnane Valley – Tizi n Tamatert Pass 2276m – Imlil Valley – Marrakech
Marrakech - After breakfast, begin the ascent to Tizi n Tamatert. Upon reaching the mountain pass, enjoy a mint tea break, then climb Asaouel Peak (2700m). Return for lunch at the pass.
Descend to Imlil, with 6 hours of walking. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech.
