Marrakech - Rise and shine! It’s 7 AM, and the journey through time is about to begin. The driver is ready and waiting outside the hotel, and with excitement, the group hops into the car. As the city fades into the distance, they are transported to a simpler era, surrounded by charming villages and lively markets. It’s a unique chance to witness a lifestyle that few have the opportunity to see.
Tizi n Tichka - Not far from the city, the skyscrapers and urban sprawl gradually give way to the High Atlas Mountains and some douars nestled on their slopes.
Tizi n Tichka - The Tizi-n-Tichka, standing proudly at 2260 meters, is Morocco’s second-highest summit, only surpassed by Toubkal. Traveling along this scenic road offers breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains, leading to the ancient Moroccan palace of Ait Benhaddou Ksar.

Join the exploration of the stunning beauty of Ait Benhaddou Ksar and enjoy a delightful lunch amidst its breathtaking sights.
Ouarzazate - As the journey continues through the Kasbahs, the group heads to Ouarzazate, a city as enchanting as it is historic. Known as the “door of the desert” and the “Hollywood of Africa,” this destination is truly mesmerizing. After a brief 20-minute drive, they arrive in Ouarzazate and have 45 minutes to explore the cinema museum and Taourirt Kasbah.
El Kelaa M’gouna - After visiting Ouarzazate, a charming city renowned for its world-class film studio, the highlight of the trip awaits in the Valley of Roses. This place is not just a nickname but a given name because the locals earn their living by cultivating roses and extracting oils, perfumes, and cosmetics using traditional natural methods that ensure safety standards and provide superior results compared to manufactured materials.
Dades Gorges - Wow, these rocks are remarkable! The driver mentioned they’re called the “toes of monkeys.” Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the rocks are shaped like fingers, but they’re too large to belong to monkeys. They must be the fingers of giant gorillas! A quick break is taken before continuing the journey to Hotel Dades, about 26 kilometers away. Dinner and the first night in the hotel are eagerly anticipated. Overnight at a traditional Kasbah in Dades Gorges.

Merzouga - This region in Morocco is perhaps the best for observing a variety of desert bird species, such as desert sparrows, Egyptian nightjars, desert warblers, fulvous babblers, and Blue-cheeked bee-eaters - all worth seeing, even if just to put a face to their unique names. Occasionally, during the spring season, a shallow lake emerges northwest of Merzouga, attracting flocks of flamingos and other water birds.

It’s said that a wealthy local family once refused a poor woman and her son hospitality and that God was displeased, causing the family to be buried under the mounds of sand that now make up Erg Chebbi, located 50km south of Erfoud. But the reality of these dunes is genuinely remarkable. They can shape-shift and can reach heights of up to 160m. The way they illuminate in a beautiful rose gold hue until the afternoon sun changes their colour to orange, pink, and purple is truly a sight to behold. These majestic dunes rise above the twin towns of Merzouga and are nothing short of breathtaking.
