Marrakech - Departure from Marrakech is scheduled for 7 am to witness a stunning sunrise over the Sahara dunes.

Tizi n’Tichka - Traveling through the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, we will be treated to breathtaking views.

Zagora - Experience picturesque Berber villages and fortresses, and savor a variety of traditional local dishes.

M’Hamid - We will pause at the most picturesque spots for photography.

Erg Chigaga - The journey’s final stretch includes a camel ride to our desert camp. A festive dinner with music by desert nomads awaits, offering a wealth of knowledge about Morocco in just one day, enough to fill a book!

Erg Chigaga - Anti-Atlas - “Rally Paris-Dakar” track - Foum Zguid. 300 km, 5.5 hours on the road

Erg Chigaga - After enjoying a magnificent sunrise over the dunes and breakfast, we will embark on a jeep journey across the desert.

Anti-Atlas Mountains - Discover the mountainous landscapes of the Anti-Atlas, visit Sahrawi settlements and Berber villages. Learn about local traditions, crafts, and history, explore local cuisine, and try baking bread or making tajine. Engage in pottery or weaving, where some of Morocco’s most beautiful ceramics and carpets are crafted.

Foum Zguid - Arrival in Ouarzazate is expected in the evening.

Ouarzazate - Aït-Ben-Haddou - Tizi-n-Tichka Pass - High Atlas - Marrakech. 200 km, 4 hours on the road

Atlas Studios - The day begins with a visit to Atlas Studios, the world’s largest film studio, where scenes from Game of Thrones, Aladdin, Gladiator, and many other films were filmed.

Ait Ben Haddou - After exploring biblical temples, Egyptian pyramids, and Tibetan monasteries, we will visit the impressive Berber fortress of Aït-Ben-Haddou, recognizable from numerous films. Explore the local bazaar and wander through the intriguing alleyways of this architectural and historical marvel.

Tizi n Tichka - Following lunch, we will journey through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, returning to Marrakech by 5 pm.

Ancient fortresses will be explored, with an overnight stay in the desert, and a visit to “Hollywood” is included. The journey offers insights into nomadic and Berber lifestyles, with opportunities to learn pottery and camel racing skills, and perhaps assist in date picking, tajine preparation, or wedding carpet creation.
