Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

Medina of Marrakesh - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Marrakech at 7:30 AM, embarking on a journey to Ait Benhaddou via the High Atlas Mountains. The route includes the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). Visitors will explore the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Ouarzazate, with a stop near the Atlas Film Studios for photos, followed by a panoramic view of the Kasbah of Taourirt in the city center. The day concludes with a drive to Boumalne du Dades for an overnight stay, including dinner at the hotel.

Tizi n Tichka - Tizi n’Tichka is a mountain pass in Morocco, connecting the southeast of Marrakesh to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains. It is situated above the expansive Marrakesh plains and serves as a gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Ait Ben Haddou - By midday, travelers will reach the renowned fortified city of Ait BenHaddou, once a caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. A local official guide will lead a tour around the kasbah. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a remarkable example of southern Moroccan architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has also been featured in numerous Hollywood productions, including The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Game of Thrones, Vikings, and many more.

Boumalne Dades - The journey continues through the scenic canyons of Boumalne Dades, passing the Valley of Roses and arriving at local accommodations in the Gorges Dades Valley. Guests will enjoy a traditional dinner accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of Berber drums.

Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert Erg Chaabi

Todgha Gorge - After an early breakfast in the Dades Gorges area, the tour proceeds to the Todgha canyons, showcasing the vibrant colors of the gorge walls. The Todra Gorge is one of the world’s most impressive canyons, with rock formations reaching up to 500 meters and extending 160 km (100 mi) from Ouarzazate to the east of Tineghir. The winding roads offer breathtaking views of the gorge and historic kasbahs. After a locally prepared lunch amidst the stunning rocky cliffs, the journey continues past old Berber villages, with stops at major viewpoints to admire the majestic landscapes. There is also an opportunity to explore the beautiful oasis in Tinghir. The route then continues through the red-hued walls of ancient valleys, known as the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Day 3 Erg Chebbi - Merzouga - Marrakech

Merzouga Desert - On this day, guests will experience an early sunrise camel ride at Erg Chebbi before meeting their guide. The return journey to Marrakech traverses the volcanic landscapes of the Anti Atlas Mountains to the village of Nkob. In Ouarzazate, guests may request a stop at the film studios if desired. Lunch can be enjoyed at leisure in the city center. In the early afternoon, the drive continues across the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi Ntichka pass. The private 3-day desert trip from Merzouga to Marrakech concludes in Marrakech City by mid-afternoon, following an 8-hour drive.
