Saadian Tombs - After breakfast, a knowledgeable local guide will meet guests at their accommodation to begin a day filled with captivating sights. Marrakech, a former imperial city, is a significant economic hub and home to numerous mosques, palaces, and gardens. The densely packed, walled medieval city dates back to the 12th century of the Berber Empire. The guide will lead guests through the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore the sensory-rich souks—exotic spices, vibrant fabrics, and exquisite metal works are just a few of the many souks to discover. Visitors will also explore sites of historical and cultural significance, including the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Koutoubia Mosque, and the renowned Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Lunch will be at a recommended restaurant. After lunch, guests will be driven through the new city to visit the stunning Majorelle Gardens.

Marrakech to Agafay

Agafay - After breakfast, guests will be picked up to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and drive to the rocky desert of Agafay. Along the way, they will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Moroccan countryside. There is also an option for a self-drive, 2-hour quad-biking adventure at some point during the day. There will be a stop for lunch, and later in the afternoon, guests will embark on a camel ride to enjoy a beautiful sunset and the tranquility of the desert.

Agafay to Essaouira to Marrakech

Essaouira - After breakfast, guests will drive approximately 3 hours to the charming town of Essaouira. Upon arrival, a local guide will meet them to explore the fishing port with its lively fish market and the medina, where they will learn more about the town’s fascinating history and see many artisans at work, including thuya (a local wood) carvers. Lunch will be at the fish market in the heart of the medina. In the late afternoon, the group will return to Marrakech.

Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains

High Atlas Mountains - Today, guests will experience breathtaking scenery and stunning views of the highest mountain in North Africa, “Jbel Toubkal,” as they drive to the Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout and Berber villages before arriving at Asni. There will be several stops for photographs as they pass through various valleys - the Tahnnaout Valley, the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the Ourika Valley, one of the most beautiful and attractive valleys in Morocco. Guests will have the option for a 2-hour hike to the waterfall in the area and see Barbary Apes in their natural habitat. After lunch, the group will return to Marrakech.

Cooking Classes and Hammam

Marrakech Massage & Hammam - Guests will be picked up and taken for a 2-hour hammam experience. An experienced attendant will provide an incredible and enjoyable massage. Afterwards, guests will be returned to their hotel.

Marrakech / Ouzoud Waterfalls

Ouzoud - Today, guests will experience breathtaking scenery and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. After breakfast, they will drive approximately 2 hours through authentic Berber villages and the mountains to the famous Ouzoud waterfalls, an area of peace and calm in contrast to Marrakech. There will be ample opportunities for photographic stops along the way. Upon arrival at the waterfalls, an experienced mountain guide will lead a 2-hour hike through the area. Following the hike, there will be a stop for lunch before heading back to Marrakech.

Marrakech Departure

Marrakech - After breakfast, guests will be driven to the airport in time for their departing flight. Here, farewells are exchanged, and the tour concludes.
