A Wonderful Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains! - We had a fabulous day with our driver and guide Amas! He was an excellent and safe driver and very knowledgeable about Marrakesh as well as all the 5 valleys in the Atlas Mountains we visited. Our breakfast with the ladies at the Argon oil coop was interesting as was the hike with the local guide! We had a delicious lunch with fantastic mountain views with a local family. A very worthwhile and enjoyable day!!

Atlas mountains with Ismail - Fab day in the mountains with Ismail. Small group of 6. Felt like we were off the tourist trail. So peaceful and majestic. Berber breakfast at argon oil cooperative was really lovely. And lunch at Berber house was truly delicious with spectacular views and no one around. Hike through the villages gave us an authentic insight into Berber life. So many outstanding vistas … Thank you Ismail for a truly unforgettable day🙏🏻🙏🏻 Ps. We wish we’d brought gifts for the children we passed (coloring books, stickers, pens). Ismail is the atlas mountains Santa!

Great views and great company in a truly authentic experience. - This is a truly amazing trip made even better by Ismail our driver and guide. His insights were truly enlightening meaning there was never a dull moment. The walk around the Berber villages and the meal with a Berber family in their home was truly authentic. The views are also quite stunning and all of this is a relatively small distance from Marrakech. This is definitely a 5 star experience.

One of the best overall tours you could do to experience any new place or culture! - This tour is one of the best overall tours anywhere! We had Ismail as a tour guide, and he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour, but also knew tons of interesting facts about other cultures. Pros about this tour: - small groups (<8) - excellent tour guides - secluded / secret areas with very few tourists - amazing views - delicious food - friendly locals - inside view on Berber life (homes, lifestyles, agriculture, etc) - cute Berber kids (bring candies or small items to gift them, for the smiles!)

A Marrakech Must Do! - This tour was phenomenal and we would highly recommend! Anas was the most friendly, knowledgeable and just all around amazing guide. The day starts with breakfast at a local Argan oil facility (bread with honey, oils and argan nut butter) with the ability to buy the beauty products. We bought loads as they smelt and felt so good from face masks to creams to oils. Throughout the day we discussed the history of Marrakech, the scenery, the way of life, the people and any question we had he could answer. The hiking guide Ali was equally brilliant, we got to walk around multiple villages and had the most delicious traditional food! We felt safe and looked after the entire time, it was easy to arrange pick up and drop off. Definitely value for money!

Beyond exceptional - If you do one guided trip in Morocco, make sure it is this one. We did the Atlas Mountain and 5 valleys day trip with Ismail. it was beyond exceptional. it was the best day trip we have ever had. when we bought it we thought it was to look at pretty sights. it is a lot more than that. Ismail is a living encyclopedia, and super fun. it was an authentic experience of Berber hospitality. the breakfast with the ladies' cooperative with fresh bread being baked in the fire and fresh amlou, honey and argan oil with these happy women that probably have a hard life was extraordinary. Then the hike between the villages with a young Berber chatting about his culture amidst the kids, women shepards, goats and sheep was truly special. The best food we had in Marrakesh with a Berber family on the terrasse amidst the mountains will be unforgettable, the chicken in our yagine was local, organic, I can tell it. It was only 6 people and we were blessed with the most delightful companions. The views are majestic. Ismail made it all feel relaxed and we had a lot of laughs. He made it look effortless, but he must put a lot of preparation. It was a perfect, memorable day.

Sheer Brilliance - What a wonderful experience, from beginning to end I cannot rate the tour enough. Anas our private tour guide for the day was fantastic, so knowledgeable, kind and funny! Anas made contact directly before 8 am to introduce himself so we knew exactly who and where we'd be meeting. We started our journey to have some breakfast where we met a traditional woman's cooperative where we learned about the traditional process of extracting argon oil and all the benefits - we were even able to purchase some of the wonderful products. Once breakfast was finished, our guide Anas explained many of the amazing views of the valleys and mountains we began to ascend. We stopped off briefly to sample some wonderful tea beside the Ourika Valley River before heading further up the mountain and witnessing some wonderful scenery and views along the way. We stopped and met a local Berbère Abdul, we met some wonderful locals and children who invited us into their homes and explained how they live, farm and build their local community. Abdul then became our guide for the next 90 minutes as we hiked across some villages experiencing more wonderful views absorbing the culture and seeing how the traditional Berbère people live and farm the land - the steep terrain is abundant with apple orchards, grain and many other fruits and vegetables which the Berbère are fully self-sufficient which is amazing to see. This was truly an amazing cultural experience. Our driver was sheer brilliance the entire day, we couldn't recommend the whole experience enough. Anas, until the next time when we visit again! Thank you for an unforgettable and beautiful experience.
