Great family adventure - Great discovery of the Atlas Mountains and stunning views. Our driver Said was punctual and helpful. Our guide was extremely caring and good company = one of us being injured at the ankle, he managed to find ways to make the trek at times challenging still possible. The tagine lunch was not included in the price and we felt pushed to have it despite not being hungry. After further considerations because our guide was very friendly, we decided to have it … and it was absolutely delicious! A great day to remember.

A day out in the Atlas mountains - Our driver Said was very helpful, accomodating and gave an excellent introduction to the Berber history, area and culture. Our lovely guide Mustpha took us on a hike through several Berber villages, culminating at a waterfall. His knowledge made it a very interesting walk which was ended by a traditional delicious lunch in a Berber house. We are left with great memories of a wonderful day in the picturesque Atlas Mountains. Thank you Said and Mustpha.

Atlas walk - This is a very easy and inexpensive way to visit the Atlas Mountains. All the arrangements worked well, with a good driver and guide. The walking is relatively easy. The views are amazing and the waterfall impressive. Lunch in a Berber house was good too. A good trip and I can recommend it

Beautiful water falls - The actual experience was good. However we were told water would be provided so we only took one bottle each. I had to buy more at the waterfalls as it was a very hot day. We were also told we would have breakfast do we didn’t eat before the trip. We were not offered food until the end of the trip which was lunch time. The foid was lovely but it was it breakfast.

Good overall - Was a bit longer than was stated which was 9 to 3 30.. More of a 9 am to 5 30 pm tour which is the time I got back. So be prepared for more of a day tour than half a day as you will likely be tired after. Berber market felt like it could have been skipped. It was just walking around a crowded market for 30 minutes. Other than that the visiting the villages was great. The hike isn't super difficult but does require some stamina. Mustapha was a great guide! Taught us about the village life while being helpful at some difficult parts of the hike and takes great pictures. Berber lunch was nice and got to see inside a traditional berber home. It is about 6 euros or 60-70 dirhams per person. Nice overall!

Stunning scenery - The tour was very extensive and the sights were just stunning! Our guide Mustafa took really good care of us and showed us all the beautiful spots. Loved hiking through the Valley! Would definitely recommend this tour and this guide to everyone! Just a precaution: there's some hiking involved so some fitness conditions are necessary. If you have difficulties climbing stairs and walking long distances on uneven terrain, then this is not the tour for you.

If you’re planning a trip to the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech, ask specifically for Said - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – BEST DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH! Today I joined the Atlas Mountains & Waterfall excursion, and it was absolutely amazing — all thanks to our incredible tour guide SAID! 🎉 From the moment we met, Said was warm, friendly, and full of energy. He shared so many interesting facts about the Berber culture, local traditions, history, and the mountains — everything was explained clearly and with passion. The drive was comfortable, and he made sure we stopped at great viewpoints for photos along the way. When we reached the waterfalls, it was breathtaking! Said gave us plenty of time to explore and take pictures without feeling rushed. He even helped us get the best shots and made sure everyone was safe and happy. We also visited a local Berber home where we had delicious mint tea and learned about their way of life — such a special experience. Said is professional, funny, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond for his guests. He truly made this day unforgettable. If you’re planning a trip to the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech, ask specifically for Said — you won’t regret it! 💯 Highly recommended!

Lovely, low-key, lush - It was a lovely experience! It's a smaller tour (on the day we went it was actually just us) in a slightly less touristy area. It was lush and a welcome reprieve from the heat of Marrakesh. Our driver Said made sure to stop in less busy scenic spots on the way for us to enjoy and take pictures in. We also visited one of the argan oil women's cooperatives on the way which was optimal as my partner was looking to buy some things. We met our guide Mustapha in Imlil and went on a lovely short hike to the local waterfall. The waterfall was beautiful (and so refreshing to be near on a hot day!) and there were many great views of the surrounding mountains on the way. Mustapha told us a lot about local nature, history, language, people, etc and was super flexible and accomodating, offering us route options and adjusting the hike to our preferences. We wrapped up the trip with some of the best tagine I had in Morocco (okay, I'm sure it helped that I was properly hungry from hiking but it was very good regardless!) Note: if you do this on a Saturday there is a stop at the weekly market in Asni - we didn't and still had a great time but it's something to keep in mind.

One to definitely do! - Great value for money and opportunity to see local culture as well as amazing views and waterfall. Optional lunch was fab and well worth the money. Driver and tour guide couldn’t do enough. Small parts with harder terrain but guide is considerate and goes at required pace.
