A happy customer from Hawaii - The whole trip was very organized and so varied. From the logistics of the pick up to every stop. The views, the picture, the camels, the argan oil made my the women's collective, the hike, the waterfall, the company, and the food was all promised and delivered. Samira was incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. A wonderful guide and her English is amazing. Mahalo nui loa, thank you very much in Hawaiian.

A great day out with great guides. - Our tour guide Samira was excellent from start to finish. The pickup was delayed due to other guests not showing up, but Samira kept us informed until she was able to get us. Then she was always informative and cheerful throughout the day, with lots of interesting information about the areas we visited. The hike to the waterfall was fine, despite the heat, although I was glad to be wearing the right footwear. It was busy though, especially at the waterfall which made it a challenge to enjoy as much as I would have liked. There also seemed to be an army of locals selling jewellery, which became annoying, but I guess everyone has to make a living. We stopped at a Berber market, which was exceptionally busy. There wasn't an opportunity to browse as I was following our guides and trying to keep a close eye on my teenage daughters. Again there were locals selling jewellery, and they were quite persistent, and when I said no (they were hassling my daughters) one became quite aggressive. The visit to the women's cooperative was interesting, we had some really nice tea and tasted some of their produce, before a quick demonstration of how it was made. We bought a few things, which were a bit pricey, but it was all in a good cause. Of course the camel (dromadary) ride was another tick on my bucket list. We dressed in local costumes and I did feel a bit like Lawrence of Arabia! We were only in the saddle for about 30 minutes, but for a first ride, in those temperatures, it was just about right for me. Overall, we had a great day out, helped in no small part by Samira, her companion guide and the driver.

Seeing, learning and experiencing Morocco beyond Marrakesh - The experience was wonderful and allowed us to see beyond Marrakesh and within the villages of the Atlas Mountains and Afgay Dessert. The guide had great English and was full of knowledge to share. All the stops we made were enriching.

Fun & Hospital experience!! - The overall day we would rate 3.5/5!! They picked us ip right by our riad which was great, our group was small and that made the experience more intimate. we stopped for a small breakfast that included bread and three different oil dips, which was a definite highlight of the day! we also got to see the process of how argan oil is made. our tour guide made a few pit stops along the way for photos and we didn’t feel rushed at all. the lowlight of the day was the unexpected hike to an underwhelming waterfall. although we knew there was a hike involved we didn’t expected a 45 minute hike up the side of a mountain, trail was not conventionally safe, and used mostly by locals. when we got the waterfall it was crowded and made it hard to take photos. the trail down was equally as difficult, crowded, and relevantly unsafe. another highlight was the lunch after the hike. the best chicken tagine was AMAZING. what made this experience, 3.5/5 was our tour guide and the locals who were very welcoming and friendly.

Great experience - Guide was so nice to us. Great experience for this money. Food was excellent just to make sure that marzouga was not the type of desert we want to see thanks over all.

Itinerary not as advertised! - Overall the trip was a good experience and good value for money, however there were certain aspects missing from the advertised itinerary on trip advisor which was very disappointing. We had an unexpected very rushed 10 minute stop at a very busy market - which was basically a walk through. The camel ride was a great experience and the camels and their handlers were very friendly. The visit to the women’s Argan co-operative was good, we watched them making their products and had a taste of some. We then had a fairly rushed trek up to a mediocre waterfall, our guide did not wait for the group to catch up so there was really no time to take in the surrounding scenery. Also no mule was available to go up or down as advertised. We were looking forward to our lunch with a Berber family as advertised, however this was not the case. Lunch was delicious but we were eating in a sort of cafe, which was also not what other members of our group were expecting or what the photographs implied. There was no stop at the Berber villages to see their accommodation again as advertised. Another unscheduled stop at a river - we felt more for the guides benefit than ours. It seems there were several discrepancies between the advertised itinerary and other members of the group said the same.

Average. - I found this experience not what I expected. The Desert was lush green hills and the Atlas Mountains looked like Switzerland. Still beautiful but quite confusing :) I chose not to do the Camel ride as the Camels looked sad and tired. I injured myself badly on a rocky walking track, the guide assisted me back to the restaurant for lunch but didn’t hear anything about it. No paperwork etc. They didn’t seem to care. OH&S isn’t a thing in Morocco. All up its was quite disappointing. We went through some incredible looking towns but didn’t stop…they were the perfect place for photos!!!
