Imlil - As you arrive in Imlil, a bustling market town and the main trailhead for trekkers, you’ll witness the vibrant activity of people preparing for their mountain journeys.
Tacheddirt - Meet your mule team and load up your gear before embarking on a scenic walk along the valley towards Tacheddirt, located approximately 8 kilometers from Imlil. The trail gradually ascends towards the Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279m) and descends to the picturesque village of Ouaneskra. Afterward, continue for another half-hour to Tacheddirt (2,300m), where you’ll set up camp near the river.
