Madrassa Ben Youssef - outstanding guide - Ben Youssef Madrassa is without doubt the most meticulously restored building we have seen while in Marrakech. Our guide Brahim was with us for one hour and in that time we learned so much about the culture and history of Morocco. Thank you Brahim for sharing your knowledge and bringing this masterpiece to life for us.

Great guide! - Our guide Brahmi was waiting for us at the location even though we were a couple of minutes late. He guided us easily through the admissions and crowds. Inside he took his time to give great explanations on the history of the country and the history of the location before showing the premises. Openminded and always answering your questions, Brahmi is a great guide to have.

Superb guide (Brahim) and visit to a stunning place. - Our guide was Brahim. He kindly reassured us of where to meet him and was welcoming and friendly. As he had already secured tickets, we did not need to queue. Brahim is full of historical knowledge which he shared in a way that was easy to follow. He explained architecture, traditions and craftsmanship, and pointed out everything so that we felt we had experienced the visit to the full. Once the tour was done, we were able to wander again through the Medersa at our leisure. Thankyou, Brahim for sharing your love of Morocco and Marrakech with us and helping us understand the rich history.

A detailed and fascinating tour. - Today's guided tour with Brahim was a very worthwhile experience. He is obviously a very knowledgeable and well informed guide. I especially appreciated the background history of Morocco, in addition to the explanations about the architecture of the building and life for the students who studied there. Anyone who takes the tour with Brahim will leave with a wealth of new knowledge.

Deep appreciation of Ben Youssef Madersa. - Abrahim introduced himself to mt at the entrance on time. After having entered he explained the order of the subjects he was going to explain. From the ancient history of North Africa. The people that lived there before the Arabs and after. Then explained the history of how Marrakesh came into being. Founded on trading Marrakesh prospered to build the defence walls and the Medina. The Ben Youssef Madersa was founded to teach the children of the elite families. Then after explaining the students daily routine he pointed out the architectural details that deepened my understanding and appreciation of the Madersa. In conclusion I would highly recommend Abrahim to anyone who wants a deeper understanding.
