Highly recommended Atlas Day Tour - My experience of the 'Atlas Mountains Day Tour' with Karim Tours was amazing!
The day before the tour, the driver/guide sent me the confirmation of the pickup time and place. It was convenient, in the centre of Marrakech (but you can also choose your hotel for pickup).
We had a small group of only 5 people. The minivan van very comfortable.
We stopped at a place for camel riding, visited an Argan Oil Women's Cooperative and then we arrived in Imlil, in the middle of the beautiful Atlas Mountains!
A local hiking guide was waiting for us. He was very friendly. We walked through some lovely villages in the Imlil valley and went to see the waterfalls.
After a 2 hours walk, we had a very delicious lunch with Chicken/veg tajine, Moroccan salad and fresh bread. Very filing.
It was a wonderful day and I recommend everybody to book this wonderful tour with Karim Tours. Thank you!

Camel Ride/Waterfall/Berber Village/Moroccan tea/Moroccan lunch - This experience was the best day out of our 10 days holiday in Marrakesh. It had bit of everything and was so worth the price.

Fantastic day - It's a wonderful opportunity to see Moroccos scenery and waterfalls. Great trek but you need to wear sturdy shoes as it's a fairly steep stoney climb. Walking guide Mohammed helped me as I'm 70yrs old and needed a hand across stones etc. Great tagine lunch. DRIVER Bader was very kind and a brilliant safe driver. Great value.

Exceptional value and lovely, friendly guides - Exceptionally good value, friendly guide both on the minibus and our walking guide. Great views. Breakfast, and traditional singing and dancing from the women at the argon oil cooperative. We loved the walk in the mountains but may be tricky for younger children . Was good to stand under the waterfall spray to cool down ( along with lots of locals) Delicious food - the best we had this trip. Camel ride included clothes to dress up in which was fun. I left my phone on the minibus after the trip and the guide delivered to back to me the next day. Great service! We tipped generously as we couldn’t believe how little the trio cost but you’re never under pressure to do so. Highlight of our stay in Morocco!

What to do - Nice to guide very friendly, smiling, and gives a lot of info about history, camel ride in traditional clothes too well, hiking and superb waterfall, good Traditional meal. Little flat some photo stops where there are too insistent stone or jewelry sellers and stop at the toilet but we tell you that once you have been there that you have to pay for your passage to the toilet (which was not clean and without paper)

Sketchy Meeting Directions - Meeting spot was set for 9:30am at College Mohamed 5. Simple enough. At 8:39am on the day of the tour I received an aggressive phone call from guide asking me where I was. I told him meeting time was 9:30am. Peppered with a lot of “bros” he asked if I was coming or not, suggested I reschedule for another day, and said we should meet at another spot in the Medina (18 minute walk for me). I told him I didn’t check my WhatsApp account and if it was important, he should have called me. He said he sent the message late last night, which wasn’t true; he sent the message at 7:07pm before the sun went down. He asked if I was coming or not and hung up on me. I called him back, ran out the door and met him four minutes later. They should clearly state in their instructions that ***WE WILL CONTACT YOU VIA WHATSAPP WITH TIME FOR PICKUP; PLEASE CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT, or something like that to avoid confusion. It was a terrible way to start the day. Otherwise, it was a nice and worthwhile tour.
