Wonderful 😊 - Certainly the main highlight of many during our fabulous trip to Marrakech.
Leila, her daughter and team made us feel so special and we learnt so much.
Can't wait to do another course when we return next year.

Great experience for those who love cooking, want to learn more about traditional cuisine. - I had a great half-day with my 10-year-old son. We learnt about traditional cuisine from a super friendly and positive host. The food was delicious and spending time with an international group was highly enriching. It was also a great way to escape the hot morning. Chef Leila adapted to our needs and even offered a takeaway for the rest of my family who could not join us due to illness.

Great atmosphare, lovely chefs and a tasty menu - Laila and her daughter were lovely! Both of them talked English and French and made some fun while cooking. They also explained a lot, how to prepare the meal and what the different spices are called by their name. At the end we ate all together on one table, talked to other people and also got the recipe of the meal we cooked.

A real glimpse into moroccan food - Absolutely great experience. Myself, my 9 year old and brother had a great time learning how to make moroccan pastilla and chicken tagine with lots of laughter. I really would highly recommend this experience.

Cooking - We had such a fun time with Chef Laila & her family. We learnt much about Moreocan culture, cooking & I'm inspired to try the recipes at home now! The only area to improve is the meeting point. It's not at all clear (we found it by chance) & a photo to show where to meet would really help others.

Wonderful cooking experience - Chef Leila gave us a warm welcome to her home, which was warm and full of laughter. While Chef Leila guided us in how to prepare the dishes, she also shared information on the spicing and what to look out for in the markets.
The salad, tagine and dessert were all delicious and we’re looking forward to trying the recipes at home!
Would highly recommend.

Latecomers spoiled the class - I enjoyed the cooking class and Laila and her daughter are lovely hosts.
Unfortunately I was stressed looking for the meeting point “Prefecture” given in the instructions. I arrived 30 minutes early and asked each shopkeeper for the place. No one knew. It turned out to be an administrative office.
Up to the last minute a young man was helping me locate a phone number when I mentioned cooking class and he stopped a passerby who led me to a woman, Laila, in the swirling throng of motorbikes, cars, carts and people.
It was the parking and waiting lot and she led me to a lane with a group of participants waiting.
Laila took us to her home-kitchen and we waited and waited for a good half hour. By the time the French family of seven showed up and class commenced it took 45 minutes of wasted time. Not a single apology. Or rather it was not in English though I understand some French.
With the waiting we missed out on the market tour that should precede the class. We only had three dishes prepared instead of more due to time constraints.
The division of French-speaking group and English-speaking group worked fine. The noise level between instructors and groups was so high that one American lady shook her head in disbelief.
Well, it is life in Morocco - loud, gregarious and fun within the family.
We enjoyed the food and even bought spices and oils from the little room.
Laila was gracious to apologise for the lateness. All is forgiven but latecomers should not let the class be shortchanged in the activities!!
Thank you Laila and daughter for sending the recipes later.

Got there late - missed it! - We missed the whole thing as got lost in the souk and arrived too late at the meeting place. Our own fault i know, but we messaged, sent an email and tried to phone to ask if we could join the group late, and received no reply to any of these. Oh well, you live and learn - but can I suggest that a road within the souk ( Rue Riad Zitoun) is a difficult meeting place! Teresa, 28th October
