Day 1: Journey Through the Atlas Mountains & Ait Ben Haddou Experience
Atlas Mountains View - The adventure kicks off at 08:00 when the driver picks up the group from their location. The journey through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains includes stops at panoramic viewpoints along the route.
Ait Ben Haddou - The day’s highlight is a visit to the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its iconic kasbahs and rich history.
Dades Gorges - Overnight stay in a guest house with a home-cooked dinner included.
Day 2: From Tinghir’s Palm Groves to the Dunes of Merzouga
Gargantas del Todra - After breakfast, the group will head towards Tinghir to visit the stunning Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters. There will be time to explore, take photos, and enjoy a walk through this natural wonder.
Next, a local guide in Tinghir will lead a scenic walk through the lush palm groves, offering insights into the traditional way of life in the oasis.
Merzouga - The journey continues toward the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, with a stop for lunch along the way. As the group approaches one of the world’s most breathtaking deserts, a camel guide will be waiting.
From here, a magical camel trek into the golden dunes begins, immersing everyone in the tranquility of the Sahara. The group will pause at the perfect spot to witness the sunset behind the dunes, a truly unforgettable experience.
After the sunset, the group will head to the desert camp, where an evening of traditional music, delicious food, and stargazing awaits.
Day 3: Merzouga / Dades Gorge / Skoura (4h 23m drive)
Morocco - After a peaceful morning in the desert, the group will bid farewell to the dunes and begin the journey back towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, there will be a stop in Nkoub, a charming village known for its many kasbahs and beautiful palm groves. Here, a break will be taken to enjoy lunch in a traditional setting.
Continuing the drive through the scenic Draa Valley, the group will arrive in Ouarzazate by evening. There will be free time to explore the city at one’s own pace—perhaps visiting its famous film studios, strolling through the local markets, or simply relaxing at a café.
For dinner, it is recommended to head to the Al Mohads Square, where one can soak in the lively evening atmosphere and enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. The square comes alive at night, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the road.
Day 4: Skoura / Marrakech
Telouet Kasbah - Departing Skoura in the morning, after visiting studios, the group will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the road passing by Telouet before arriving in Marrakech in the evening!
