High Atlas Mountains - Depart from Marrakech in the early morning for the High Atlas Mountains. As you approach the twisting roads of the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, take in the breathtaking panoramic vistas and stop for photos at numerous overlooks. Continue to the historic and scenic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site noted for its old kasbahs and as the setting for countless films. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, just in time for a spectacular camel trek across Erg Chebbi’s golden dunes. As the sun sets, the colors in the desert change, producing a beautiful display. Merzouga desert - Back to Marrakech
